The 2008 WSOP has come to a close, except the most important part, the final table, but it's basically DonkDown. So here was all the updates the degenerates put in this year, lots won't make sense now but whatever. At least you get every NWP-related video and the following links to our WSOP 2008 NWP photo gallery so you can 'bird the degenerocity that went down this year. If you have never been the WSOP and love poker, it is a must-attend at least once in your life. As most of you know, I live for this WSOP.

My boy Kelly Kim long time friend from the commerce casino finds himself with a great shot at winning the Main Event...holding a monster stack at 4.7 million. This guy can play some sick short stack poker...but with a big stack in my opinion he may be the man to beat right now. He is one of the hardest grinders I know, he is so deserving of a huge score and he has put himself right in that position...obviously an unknown but that is going to be changing now....go man 1 time take this home buddy, I have always believed in you! John is out, although poker news reported it completely wrong, which isn't surprising. He actually was shorter stacked after the mid of the 2nd level and he raised with A-9 of clubs. It was the first time that a player hadn't re-raised him or folded to a raise. The flop came J-7-3 with two clubs and he put his chips in on the flop. It just so happened that the guy in late position called his raise with A-J of diamond, and he obv called John's flop bet. John didn't make a flush or improve in anyway so he busted. GL to anyone still in.

John still has $100K. He was up and down at this level and had lost around $30K in chips during several missed draws until he flopped a set of 5's on a Q-5-3 board. Dude bet and John flat called. The turn was a 3 giving John a full house. Dude bet and John put in a raise which the guy thought about, and then called. The river brought a third 3 and the guy bet AGAIN, and John raised $20K more and the guy paid him off so he is back to around $100K. GL to Micon as well....

John is at $100K at Dinner break. Nothing too exciting...he played one hand where he made a flush and got paid off, and had Aces in SB where he re-raised 2 other raisers and they folded pre-flop.

gayishly down to 13k after I make aces up and ak also makes aces upper than mine... quite demoralized but this is how 2006 started on day 2 odly enough... 1 bad play + a cooler... also you have to be demoralized at least 1 time per tourney if u expect to do well.

I was all-in on my first hand when it folded to be on the button with 33 and the small blind was about as short as I was and the big blind wasn't at the table yet. The small blind thought for a while and folded and showed ATos. The my table broke and I got moved to a table with some bigger stacks and no real short ones. I picked up the blinds once, but had blinded down to $8400. A short stack guy (12K) raised it to 1700, I moved in for 8400 with AKs and he thought for a while and called with AJos making it an 18K pot. The board ran out Q89QT. He made a straight and I am out. Pretty gay, imo.

just went up to the 2+2 both with Newhizzle and Jenn Fox and Gank. I extended my hand to Mason Malmuth and he said to get the hell out of his booth or something. I said again I would like to bury the hatchet and he stood up looking like he wanted to punch me. Gank was trying to snap a photo of the event but he was pushed in the chest by someone! developing...

Well I did double up during the last level, won and lost a couple of small pots. Ended up with 11050 chips. Pretty short for the first level on Wednesday with the blinds at 250 500 ante 50.

Limit Shootout: Good table draw. No known limit holdem high-limit cash players, and the only "name" player is Marco Traniello. Up to almost 7k in the first 90 minutes, running over the game. Then I couldn't win a hand, fell to a short stack, and got slow-rolled by AQ versus my AK on a KQQ board when I was all-in. Donk down.
