Heads-up Poker

Heads-up Poker

Heads up poker is a variation of poker for players who crave fast, intense action. All forms of poker may be played this way, and it forces players to play more hands, and to play them aggressively. If you are playing a game with blinds, the dealer has the small blind and is first to act before the flop/first draw, but is last to act in each subsequent round

The rules are the same for heads up poker, with a couple of exceptions. Usually there is a minimum stake and buy-in you must play at, set by the casino, in order to spread the game. Since the game is heads up, only two players can play in the game. Finally, in a limit game, there is no limit to the amount of raises you can make. Where as most games you can only bet to three raises, in heads up you can raise and keep raising until one of you is all in, if you desire.
