Crazy Pineapple, Eight or better

Crazy Pineapple, eight or better is a hi-lo variant of crazy pineapple. That is, the pot is split between the best high hand and the lowest low hand. However, while there is always a qualifying high hand, you need to have 5 unpaired cards, eight or lower, to qualify for low. Straights and flushes do not count against your low hand, and you may use the same five hands for high and low. You may play 2, 1 or no cards from your pocket for either your high or your low hand. So, for example if you had a AA in the pocket and the board is 2 4 5 7 K, your high hand would be AAK75 and your low hand would be A2457. A2345 is the best possible low hand, and 45678 is the worst possible qualifying low hand. If no hand has a qualifying low, then the entire pot goes to the high hand.
