PPA Issues Statement on SDNY Actions to Freeze Payment Processor Accounts

A statement issued today by the Poker Players Alliance discusses recent actions by the Southern District of New York to freeze payment processor accounts containing pay-outs from online poker sites. According to the statement, federal agents have issued seizure warrants to at least 2 US banks and subpoenas to a payment processor, alleging violations of the Wire Act and Illegal Gambling Business Act.
