Ok, so the big news is that one of the most popular poker sites, which is thanks to their beautiful and sexy representative – Liz Lieu is set to march into the US market in 2011. Despite all the legislation issues and harsh business environment for online poker operators in the United States, Chili Poker have decided to make the move and finally enter the biggest online poker market of them all – the US. The news was announced on Chilipoker's CEO Alexandre Dreyfus' official blog on the same day that Full Tilt Poker had ceased their operations in Washington State.

Chilipoker is set to launch a new subscription-based online poker site for the American players. The difference between a subscription-based and the regular poker room is that it requires the players to pay a certain fee for joining the site and then play real money tournaments with the cash prizes being rewarded by the room. However, as not all of the states allow this kind of online gambling, Chilipoker will be operating only in those where the subscription model is legal.

As Chili is currently orientated into the European market, the home for the Poker Diva, Liz Lieu is hopping that the new site will help drive its expansion into new markets from the USA to Asia-Pacific. Given that there are very few online poker rooms operating in the United States and Chili's current positions among the top poker sites, entering the American market is supposed to be a successful move.

“We are very excited about this new dimension to our business,” Dreyfus said in his blog. “Our economies of scale will help this be a strong mechanism for further growth and it will help fill the void that exists in markets where online gaming is restricted and consumers want to play poker. In markets where we operate online gaming, this new product will provide consumers with more choice.”
