many ppl stress that u need a good starting hand to play poker, cos most of the time, hands play themselves out. but i dont really agree with that proposition, especially in 6max.
I played some 5/10 6max just now, i was cold-calling with some not-so-great-hands, or raising wth trash like T2s first in. i kinda feel that my opp were confused by my play, cos they start calling me down with a hopelss ace (they dun do that when i was playing like a rocck). it feels like i can out-think them, my opp. were calling me names and complaining about luck, out of frustration i guess.
my style has been tight aggressive and i was pretty much like an open book. im trying to change.
my question is this, isnt post flop play more important than starting hands? sometimes u know your opp is obv scared of the board and will likely give up to a turn bet/raise, just an example on how u can outplay them regardless of your holding.
