Hi. I am Justin Smith's personal advisor. My name is Jon and we'll just keep it at that. I figured I would start a new topic since this identical post is buried pretty deep in Bryan's original thread. Apologies if you read that one already.
I spoke with Bryan earlier this evening about a "cease fire" because I think this whole situation has grown way out of control. Yes it was the libelous YouTube post about Justin being a pedophile that put me over the edge. Those allegations are nothing short of preposterous, completely fabricated, and digusting. If whoever created that content has a brain in their head, they will pull it down immediately. We intend to pursue that person to the ends of the earth until they are brought to justice. Very sick, very false allegations.
Now for the other side of the story. Justin does not deny that he borrowed the money from Bryan. Borrowing it in the first place was a mistake and Justin admits this. Telling Bryan that he could and would pay him back within 24 hours was his second mistake. He admits this as well. In all my conversations with Justin, he's never once suggested that he wouldn't pay Bryan back. The issue is that he doesn't have access to his money at present. Let's just say his assets are currently frozen & Justin has been expecting to have them unfrozen for some time now. It's a complicated situation and frankly it would take way too long to explain it here - - nor is it really anyone's business frankly. So, the type of VIP treatment that Bryan experienced hanging around with Justin is very typical. Most people that have spent time with Justin in the last year or so have experienced it too.
The bottom line is Bryan wants his money back. We absolutely think Bryan deserves to get his money back. Justin does not dispute this in any way. I am personally working with Justin to see that Bryan and everyone else that he owes money to gets paid once Justin is liquid again. By the way, I stand to gain from Justin getting liquid again too, so Bryan and I are very much in the same boat from that standpoint.
All we're asking for is patience. I realize that's hard to expect when Justin has not honored his commitment to pay Bryan back yet. To show good faith I told Bryan we'd wire him $1,000 today. I intend to oversee this myself so that I know it will get done. It's only 1/12th of what's owed, but at least it's something. We're hopeful that Justin's account will become liquid within the next week or two at which time, Bryan will receive his money. Until then, we know that money talks and BS walks. That's life. Thanks for listening.
