thinking about starting a moneyless fantasy football league and thought i would see if there were any NWPers who were interested in signing up.
some things i am thinking about doing
1. offense oriented league, no defense or kickers
2. complex offensive scoring: lots of bonus points for total yardage per game, plus fractional points for passes/rushes/receptions
3. lots of teams, probably at least 14-16. 20 would be sweet.
4. at least 2 qbs in starting lineup
4. am considering cutting all RBs altogether and having more qbs and wr and w/t spots. i saw a league like this on yahoo that was all qbs (3) and wr's and w/t (4+5 i think), so 3 qbs and 9 recievers, but i guess rbs are fun too. so probably my league would be like.. 2 qbs, 4 wrs, 3 rbs. the key is high scoring.
5. league will be on cbs where there is free scoring, will be a live draft
6. ive commished ff leagues before so i wont do dumb shit. unless i dont like you. nah not really just kidding. would be a fair league obv.
obv dont want a bunch of people who are going to not draft/not adjust rosters etc. looking for genuine nfl/ff fans

ive heard it said that betting on nfl preseason football is +EV, can someone explain why? TIA SFO 
So i was watchin some day baseball, perhaps the greatest invention in the history of man. Astros @ Cubs. Bottom of the 3rd, score was 4-1, stros favor. Cubs had 2 outs. And scored 8 runs. yes, 8 fucking runs with 2 outs in the inning. this reminded me of something. the cubs are a great team - easily the greatest in the NL - and only some sort of satanic act will prevent them from the pennant. i was going to bore you with stats, but why bother. they have the best record in the NL, they lead the NL in a ton of categories and they lead the league in a few categories including run differential.  just thought u should know nigs
