I'd like to outline a few positive things and paths of logic that might be overlooked by some people.

Consider a broad picture of taxation systems around the world. If we are to gauge the progress of a country as a measure of the effectiveness of said countries taxation system, then we must conclude that our American system is the best. Our system is reflective to the needs of our country based on ability of our economy to support said system. In a new world where markets entertwine with one-another, an evolution is taking place in this landscape. Therefore our taxation system must follow along in an evolutionary process. We've elected a leader who believes not only in evolving our system, but in basing it off the needs of all people in our country, not just democrats.

The world is absolutely thrilled with our choice for President. They want to deal with us again. They want to be involved with our economy because it is glaringly obviously now more than ever that when we do well, they do well.

I know it's semi-amusing when you see Oprah and Jesse Jackson crying during the victory ralley, but put your subjective feelings aside and focus on how emotional it must be to see the nation transform in 40 years from what it what, to what it now is. It's pretty impressive really that our culture is basically the first to really cross those barriers (among world powers.)

Also keep in mind that most SMART liberals, i.e. Barry, myself, Epi, etc. are looking forward to working WITH republicans to make this nation a better place for everyone. /insert cute kitten picture.
