Hello my name is Brian and I play Texas Hold Em. I am young but I know what I'm doing. Your game WILL BE more solid after just 1 session. I have played against large fields of great poker players, both live and online, and I have been very profitable. I have showed several friends and acquaintances how to play Texas Hold Em successfully while having fun. I have 2 friends at different colleges who I taught, both of whom now make as much as their projected yearly income when they get a degree, and they do it in 3-5 nights/week. I play local tournaments almost every night of the week, and online tournaments when I feel like trying to win some bigger money when I have some time. I have an extremely good cash percentage (nearly 50% in the last 8 months which in tournament play is phenominal). Some things come naturally to certain people, Hold Em is that thing for me and I have it down to a science rather than an art so it is very easy for my pupiles to pick it up in the way that I explain it. I have read countless poker books and taken lessons myself from a former pro who was at the World Series final table long ago. My style is a passive/aggressive and very composite style as I take a little from Mike, a little from Phil, a lot from Doyle and so on. I have a lot of experience, I have played with many different types of players and can immediately assess how 8 out of 10 will play after 5 hands. I can show you how to assess your opposition. I will not teach you my style persay, I will teach you to play in a manner that will benefit your skills and ability that way you have fun more than anything and will probably be very successful. I will certainly be much cheaper than a professional tutor, and then you can say I tutored you when I am pro in a couple of years! I would also be happy to accomodate groups and will certainly work out group deals, it will be much easier for me to tutor a group of 5-10 than it would be for any less, but I will certainly accept as few as one.
My terms right now are as follows:
I am visiting family in Texas right now, so a plain ticket would be good, I have seen round trip air fare to Vegas for like 240 bucks, so let's say that is my flat rate (the cost of the ticket). Once there I can offer a price of $40/hour of tutoring for one person, for multiple people let me know how many and I will get back to you with prices. Right now I will request a minimum of 5 hours per order, and that may be split into multiple sessions if that is the preference.
I humbly stand by my skills as one of the young world class Texas Hold Em players and will give my personal guarantee that just one session will change your game at least a little bit. You will find yourself understanding aspects of the game you never did, and then asking me about the new things you have noticed, Texas Hold Em is a deep game and as you venture to the bottomless I can mold you along the way. I have no problem answering any questions that anyone may have for me and will be happy to play a quick tourney with you and some friends or heads up for play money on Party Poker to prove that I know what I'm doing.
