Hey Druff,
I've been thinking about the last thing you guys talked about last night on the show (about bankroll requirements), and I'm a little confused. You said that one would need twice as big of a bankroll to play online vs. live, but you didn't explain why. I understand if you're playing heads up or short-handed games (potentially bigger swings?), but if I'm playing the same full-ring game with less rake and no tipping, with more hands per hour why would I need such a giant bankroll? Even if I am playing a lot more tables at once, wouldn't that actually lower my variance by playing so many more hands? Is it because online players are known to be tougher competition (in which case, if the players are too good, wouldn't I just want to move down to a lower limit, rather than boosting my bankroll so much)?
Please explain...
Thanks!
