how loose is to loose in turbos

While learning to play I have learned that I was not nearly paitient enough. As I am getting better at this I am finding out that it bites me in the shorts in turbos. The blinds go up so much quicker sometimes I look up the blinds are at 100/200 and I haven't even played a hand. How much more should one loosen up with out going overboard. Or do you loosen up at all?
