Losing faith in this site.

It frustrates the piss out of me.

This site COULD be sooo much more than it is today, but there are two huge roadblocks holding this place down as a small niche site compared to the highly-trafficked poker forums out there...

1) A few dozen people whose lives revolve around this site and whom realistically, add virtually nothing meaningful to the site, but all have zillions of posts, drown the site in racism and gratuitous black cocks, completely and shamelessly abusing the charter of the site as a free speech zone. To these retards who offer virtually no redeeming value to society or NWP, they truly believe it is their duty and responsibility to drown out any actual meaningful or intelligent discussion with complete garbage because IT SIMPLY MUST BE THIS WAY TO BE A FREE SPEECH ZONE.

How many more weeks/months/years of this shit will be condoned before the management of this place realizes that if you're going to put the free speech thing above all else, you are going to be absolutely doomed to serving a few dozen immature, socially retarded idiots who have nothing to offer except a neverending stream of black cocks and the word "nigger" which gets their rocks off? When will the people in charge here realize this site will NEVER have any real traffic or user base until they realize that there's a difference between being big on freedom of thoughts and ideas to a point, but that posting black cocks or nigger this, nigger that is really not a constructive or meaningful expression of a thought or idea?

Hell, I could even deal with the idea of sequestering those who can't help themselves into a separate forum where they can circle-jerk-black-cock-and-nigger-alarm each other into retarded bliss...but the reality is, NWP allows this crap on its one and only main forum open to the public...this is simply a terrible business decision and an artificially created ceiling placed on this community.


2) Cliques - another terrible concept which does absolutely nothing good for NWP except foster the notion that the only people that matter are the 30 most prolific posters matter and everyone else can go screw. The only forum on NWP with any meaningful traffic viewable to the general public is Shooting Off. There are several "private" "exclusive" forums which serve only to placate the egos of a few dozen insiders to NWP. I suppose if the powers that be honestly don't care about ever having anyone new feel like they belong in this communty, this post is a giant waste of space.

I dunno. I just feel so frustrated because this place has soooo much fucking potential, but for the last few months I've been unable to keep the faith that a renaissance of interesting content is just around the corner.

I'm sure every NWP mongoloid will now immediately reply like Pavlov's dog, with nooses, black cocks, and nigger alarms galore. Sad.

Advice on maximizing value in 10k event

So, I satellited into the 10k WPT event at Foxwoods next week.

I'd like to maximize my value in the event and figured I'd open up a thread for suggestions.

I did get paid $5 a few months back to wear NWP gear in a WSOP event. I got to keep the gear, too. I guess the time meeting Micon and watching Clonie Gowen hiding in a corner on the phone, possibly scoring something, was a priceless memory I'll always treasure.

If I go super deep will NWP staff offer me an additional $5 or more to wear the NWP colors?

I've tried to sell a part of my action elsewhere with no takers, but who might it be +EV to agree to swap action with if offered?

If I end up shortstacked far off the money line, would it be better to try to go out in some memorable fashion or attempt to do something noteworthy in the event looking to advance my name/persona if money doesn't seem likely to come?

Are there any standing offers of $$$ for me to say something to X pro if I end up seated with them?
