In recent times, and over the past few weeks especially, we have had a problem regarding the determination of appropriate material for Shooting Off.

On one side, we have the anti-censorship crowd, who would like to see Shooting Off remain a "virtually anything goes" sort of environment. These individuals claim that introducing content-related rules into Shooting Off will ruin NWP.

On the other side, we have those who say that Shooting Off has become trash, and has been ruined by a few vocal assholes who constantly are pushing the envelope simply for the sake of being offensive. These individuals would welcome new rules regarding content and posting of extra-offensive material.

I have been caught in the middle for quite some time on this issue, being unable to decide one way or the other.

On one hand, I love uncensored forums, and I hate introducing oppressive rules that prevent people from being as crazy and offensive as they want to be. After all, NWP is known for outrageousness, and people wouldn't be here if they couldn't stand the heat, right?

On the other hand, things have gotten out of hand lately. You can't get through a thread these days without seeing multiple black pensies, and racism is running rampant worse than ever. It is safe to say that such themes are now dominating the site, rather than appearing occasionally as "shock" value. Keep in mind that NWP was not always like this. In 2005 and 2006, considered by most to be the "golden years" of NWP, male nudity was rare, and racist post/views were only spouted on occasion.

As discussed during this week's radio show, Micon and I have decided to pacify BOTH sides by creating another forum where extremely offensive behavior is allowed, while at the same time cleaning up Shooting Off. This will allow our main forum to become more readable and enjoyable for the masses, while still providing an outlet for those who want to post black cocks everywhere.

The following new rules are now in place for Shooting Off:

1) Blatant racism will no longer be allowed here. The "Nigger Alarm Wrecking Crew" must be removed from all signatures, and topics started simply to be racist will be removed. This is not a ban of all racist speech from Shooting Off, but any racist speech done simply for the sake of outrageousness/trolling is not allowed.

2) No male nudity allowed in Shooting Off. This includes avatars. Yes, I said male nudity, and yes, I'm being sexist. This is because NWP is like 99% heterosexual males, so there's no reason we should all be subjected to seeing penises in every post.

3) Graphic sexual pictures are no longer allowed in Shooting Off. Again, this includes avatars.


Use your best judgment when it comes to the above new rules. For example, I don't consider the below picture to be a "graphic sexual picture":
