Farve to Tampa

Listening to 620am the sportsanimal local sports radio show, The Bucs are close to signing Farve. Sources close to Steve "Big Dog" Duemig, local drivetime host and national college show anchor saturday mornings report Bruce Allen has just ended a call with farve to bring him to Tampa.

As a transplanted Buc's fan, I think this deal sucks. This would be Michael Claytons' 7th different QB in his short career here and im not ready for number 8 , farve or not. Im not going to go on and on much more . Doesnt work for me, and just another bumble move by Allen and Gruden. Whats wrong with Garcia??? 2nd year here, etc etc.

Theres a new sherriff in town, and we dont need no stinking badges, just some of the best young arms in the majors right now, Thanks to Minnesota for picking up our trash on the curb ( Delmon Young) and replacing very nicely with Garza dominating on the bump!!!



No long diatribe needed about the rest of the squad, and true baseball affecionados know how well are shelves are stocked in the Minors too.





Only one fan is more obnoxious at the Trop than a Yankee fan, and thats a Redsox fan,but thats Ok Tampa Rays "Republic" (as coined by Don Zimmer)
has grown the once quiet trop into the " PIT" as locals here and Coach Maddon likes to call it.





Once maligned for pulling the young arms too early last year after 5 and 6 inning stints, Maddon has the convenience of an Elite set up man, Wheeler, Balfour in almost in any situation, and the 2008 oft injured Percy. Percy hasnt been rock solid, but saving some nice games for them. Or hell just let Sonny or Garza go 8.
