just finished playing the full tilt $10 tourney and got knocked out 58, but he's the hand and i wanna know if i was the donk or did i call correctly

blinds were 120/240,

ur big blind and see :8c , :9h , 5 players call the bb with no raise, so u check ur option,

flop comes :6d :7s :kc ,

i have about 4000 in chips, i check, guy 2 seats to the left has me covered by 60 chips checks, 3rd guys had 900 in chips goes allin, 4th fold, 5th folds, now what would u do call the 900 and chase the straight, or do u fold?, well i called the all in, and had 3100 in chips, 2nd guys calls also, the turn comes

so i hit my straight, and the pot is about 4000, so i but 2100, guy reraise me all in, so here im thinkin k,10, so i call already committed and knowing i was in the lead and the river

was it the right play or should i had let it go after flop?

hey whats going on, i'm been reading the forums for awhile now but have never posted but i wanted to see how everyone started with poker, bankroll, the stakes they play and stuff. I've made my living in 1/2 blinds no limit and 5/10 limit. Ive only played in 7 tourneys over 100 and made the money in all tourneys but i never had the bankroll to go bigger, usually my bankroll goes on buying stuff for my newborn, just wanted to see how everyone did it, did ya have the money to begin with or did you guys just build up your bankroll until you had enough to enter the high stakes?
