NWP redesign update

So, after a month or so of on and off work with Micon and nwpserverdude, the site is almost ready to go live. This is just the front page and hopefully we'll be able to add more content and update/redesign other parts of the site after this chunk goes live. I'm also hoping to get rid of the some of the menu items (as druff has suggested) and re-arrange the user-login box. For now here's a preview of what it looks like:

NWP needs a new look...

So instead of bitching and moaning, here's my proposal:



It's clean, it's fresh and most of important it's functional. Instead of the redundancy of the menu bar clashing and repeating the navigation bar, it now serves a real purpose. The entire header now looks like it wasn't created in MS Paint. Obviously a picture of Micon would go where the question mark is, but I couldn't find a decent enough one to put up there.

First time I've seen a click-thru ad on this website...anyone else run into this lately?

Pokerstars question

Pardon my ignorance on this topic, but I figure one of you guys may know or at least give me a little insight.

Why does PokerStars not reveal cards on a cash game table when two or more people are all in until the river? Obviously in tournaments people show before more cards are shown on the board, but other sites, such as Party, FullTilt and Interpoker cards are revealed before the river.

Why does PokerStars not do this? I think it'd just be nice to see what you're up against.

Thoughts? Insight?
