Did I give him the correct odds to play this like this? Or did I simply get donk struck by a retard? This guy in previous hands was raising quite often and was playing very loose, hence why I played my AQs the way I did. This was a 10+rebuys.

Just feels like I got gipped. I played one of the best games I have ever played today, and if it had been the old school schedual I would have made 1K intead of 722 bucks. I guess I can't complain, but I dunno, I guess I am greedy. I have been studying MTT's profusely the last several months and finaly things worked in my favor. I was a huge disadvantage HU because the CL had taken out virutally everyone but me on the final table, when it went HU i had 300K vs 1.7 million. I had AK vs Q5s and he flopped trip 5's, so nothing I could do. Still, I'm very happy I was finaly able to pull a game togther the way I was, it was like being in a different world. I couldn't blink, I was tense, but not nervous, every bet I studied and was predicting hands turned over at leat 75% of the time. I hope it continues and I can finally enter the league of pros that own MTT's.

Just wondering what everyones opinion (including you druff, but I doubt you play these games heh) on the best way to win low buy in Turbo S&G's on stars. As for now, I simply play tight until the blinds hit 100/200 and only try to play top tier hands (Big PP, AKs, AK) and I will limp with suited connectors and low pairs just to see a flop (in early pos, I might try to steal blinds with them, but am weary playing them aggresively because the player quality at these low buy in's really sucks). Once the blinds get decently high, I tend to try my best to buy blinds with pushing my stack when the opportunity looks good and wait until the cash positions (top 3-4 ect) and then because the blinds are pretty high by then, it can be a little bit of a crap shoot, but as long as I make the cash positions, I can deal with that pretty well. If anyone has anything to add, or tell me I'm a donkey and give me a better strat, please feel free to do so.

Already one of my friends has lost his job because of it.... I happen to play quite often, I have a 60 Troll Rogue on Kel Thuzad, and now I pretty much just play for the PVP. Anyone else play on here?

Hey guys, I need some tips for cracking HU play in S&G's. I can consitantly make the top 3 no problem, but I have been having such a hard time beating the HU round. I play pretty aggressive against my opponent and at the levels im playing at they almost always slow play, so it's hard to get reads on them. Also, I keep running into stupid high cards and just cant crack it. The last 2/3 I have been HU in the guy has had AA when i have a decent hand like KTs or KQ, I can't beat these fuckers, if anyone has some sure fire tips for HU S&G play, please post them, thanks. smile.gif
