2012 review

Solid flick. Shallow plot but what do you expect? I found the character development was decent, plot development was decent. Some of the acting was spotty but overall I was totally entertained. Great special effects. I would def recommend seeing this on the big screen. Oh and Avatar looks interesting though I am not totally sold on the idea YET. We will see.

Seattle trip report

Spent friday night in seattle and the weekend at granny's. She lives in Eatonville actually. Seattle was pretty nice. I dig the bay. Felt a lot like a mini San Francisco. My cousin and I went down to Pike street and hung out at the little fish market they have there. Crazy russian dudes throwing fish everywhere was pretty cool. Seattle is pretty clean but COLD as all hell. Ate at Juno's across the street from BofA on what is it third street? Or 2nd I don't remember. Best burger I've had in a long time. All in all I found Wa to be a little more expensive than cali for everything but gasonline. Went to Red Wind casino. Was only there for 20 minutes good lord what a dump. It rained LITERALLY every single fucking minute that we were there. After eating downtown we had to take I-5 south for about 30 miles and I thought traffic in the bay area was bad- this was much much worse. Went to a cool glass blowing museum in tacoma. Watched some people make leaves and shit out of glass. Pretty cool. Stuff in the gift store was way overpriced but I bought my mom something anyway. Cool trip i guess. I have some kind of lung infection now so I'm home from work and posting this glorious thread for you folk. Kinda wish I had hit up Ship to find out all the cool shit to do but we really didn't have time. Wish I had eaten at the space needle, and gone when the weather didn't suck. Oh and I may be crazy but it felt like leaving Seattle is like leaving civilization. Tacoma was a lot smaller than I thought as was Seattle.
