Alot of the companys making MMO's now fail because they try and recreate something thats been established for a while and has crazy ammounts of subscribers (What Warhammer Online did to World of WarCraft). But since the creation of Ultima Online back in the mid 90's there has been a certain ammount of hardcore oldschool MMO players that have tried and failed on a dozen or so Flash in the Pan MMO's looking for the one that fills the PvP void thats out there.

Until DarkFall Online there is nothing that remotely has come to fill that nitche, why is that? Skilled PvP with full looting has been absent in 99% of all launched MMO's because it scares new players off. Companys don't want new playe first experiance to get so far in a quest or farming materials for a couple hours to make an item then someone can swipe by in 5min and nullify all that work. Honestly there isn't THAT big of a market for a full PvP and full loot game but since no game has done is successfuly yet I am damn sure the community will be more loyal than a bunch of Blizzard fanboys stroking eachother off comparing there uber loot.

Game is suposed to come out in a month (in my honest opinion it wont make the release date) but do your own research on the game and see if it tickles your fancy. I know a bit about it so any questions/comments let me know. This game isn't for the faint of heart, if you aren't good at FPS's or PvP you better stick to WoW, at the very least you need to do is roll with a crowd that knows WTF they are doing. Its not a game that holds your hand either, the learning curve is pretty steep (since there is ALOT of skills and the world is about 6x the size of WoW).

I usualy travel alone out to Vegas since most of my friends can't muster up any cash to come with me or go out with my Dad who just kinda does his own thing so I've never actually taken in a show except for a couple random comedy clubs. This trip I am finaly going out with a friend and I figure it would be aproprate to see a show (or two) and I remembered seeing a couple half priced ticket booths on the strip. is this a scam or is this shit legit? There must be a catch of some sort

So Age of Conan had great potential to be a fantastic game but fell flat on its face. I know people with the best PC's money can buy can't even play the game longer than 15min before the game crashes on them. If it isn't performance issues with random setups its imbalances in game between classes and lack of content. On top of this you have the WORST support of any MMO i've ever played. Enough tilt about AoC...onto bigger fish to fry:

Warhammer Online, So aparantly if you pre-order the game you can get a code to get into beta this weekend (the 15th). Now I am not sure thats when the beta will start but the code will be able to be entered on the 15th. I am also not sure you need to pay the full $50 to get the code or just $10 to "hold" the game until the September 18th release date. Pre-ordering it will also entitle you into a $5 discount on the game launch plus two in-game exclusive items along with an early access date (so you can play before the retail launch). Obviously you wont be able to take your beta character into the live September 18th launch but it still a good teaser to see how well the game runs on your system and what class you may want to play before you actually play.

You can read more about it here: Warhammer Preorder

Something about Blizzard cinimatic trailers that get the juices flowing. I've heard anywhere from October to December on a release date. I will go out on a limb and say it may be until 2009 when we will see this hit stores. From the small ammount of footage on the net the game looks amazing but there is only a small ammount of information available on the game (Just 2 classes, no feat trees, itemization..etc).

I just hope they can put a stop to hacking and duping, it really ruins the economy in game. I'd almost be willing to pay a small monthly fee to keep game information like that serverside so its harder to exploit the game but I doubt Blizzard will do that and just make a seperate community for the game (like Battle.net for Diablo2).

So I was watching the newest "Life of Ivey" clip on PokerRoad (VIP RoundTable it is named). About 3/4 the way into it they are ribbing on Ivey wearing Socks with sandels then Ivey says something along the lines he does it so he can get foot masages at the table while playing. In comes Barry Greenstien saying something along the lines of "Is that a Black Thing? I hear David Williams likes foot massages".
