Techie help! $150 <update=$300> reward if you can help

I just started working an internship in Morocco 3 days ago, and I am trying to setup Stars on this laptop they gave me. I am capable of downloadin the software okay, and after I go thru the installation process; i get a message saying:

"Installation met with only partial success, to view log of attempt; click here"

The log says:

Some1 know how I can fix this? It may be a setting on the computer which prevents me from installing new software; any1 know how I can get around this? OBV reward if u can
