I guess they have already come out with an Absolut New Orleans or something, but I saw an ad for Absolut Boston in this week's SI. And I live in NC...

Ideas for a better clubhouse

1. Sonny- Start an interesting thread everyday. Good ones in the forum so far include the "Saturday" thread, "Ask Jewdonk", etc. Pose an interesting question/topic about anything: poker, sports, vaginas, esperiences, travels etc.

2. Focus on that one (or two) threads. Having good material will foster more good material. No offense Del, but no one wants to comb through 12 new thread a day. Don't force it; quality over quantity.

3. Don't link news stories. We all have internet capability, we can find them ourselves. Yawn.

NWP REVIVAL

: Let me preface this by saying that I'm sure such a pedantic revival has been done before. My motivations stem clearly from the fact that I want this board to be juiced up.

1. I am putting this in numerical form because I am fucked up and Jewdonk is the unofficial God of this community, Plus, it's easier to jump from drunk thought to drunk thought via numbers.

2. I pulled (IMO) one of the niggeriest moves of all time tonight; scraping one's pipes clean of resin and smoking the tar to get wasted.

3. We all agree this board is lacking. A simple solution is such: STARTING MORE THREADS ABOUT RELEVANT STUFF. Jewdonk, Delaware, and Druff create the most hits via their subject matter. Empirically proven. I would add more, but my life is unfortunately normal. I have a serious foreign girlfriend who I am teaching to play limit poker, am aspiring towwards a psychology.sociology B.A., and have ceased serious degeneracy since Sept. '2008.

4. Breaking degenerate news is the nuts. The :HOF proves this. Even if it's just a thin rumor about someone, :makethread. These people that do the shit we do aren't untouchables, they're degens that met success over the years, Why has : whynot x3 persisted? It's funny.

5. I understand that effort is the main ingredient lacking. I don't blame anyone; of I owned any X of this site, it wouldn't matter. I would be the same inadequate poster that I currently am. But others are different. A lot of people care about his site. Maximize your presence.

6. Shitty posters are a necessary evil.

7. If you post in this board, you care to some degree. Maximize your presence. Who cares if people like you? I'll probably be labeled a Michael dupe, but at least I try.

I don't need a full synopsis of course, but what is the current state of affairs? Is there a court date? Has UB publicly condemned him? I'm sure there is information on this board to be found, but am just curious as to the here and now.
