Woman arrested after calling 911 to report McDonalds out of Chicken McNuggets
March 3, 2009 - 11:46 AM
Marianne Wellendorf

You could say she flew into a "McFury"

Latreasa Goodman, 27, was arrested and charged with misusing 911 after calling the emergency line three times to report that McDonalds was out of Chicken McNuggets and...to make matters worse.....they wanted to give her a McDouble.

According to the Fort Pierce Police Department, Goodman said to the 911 operator, "This is an emergency, if I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one, this is an emergency!"

The out-of-Chicken-McNuggets store in question is the McDonalds located at 615 North US 1 in Fort Pierce.

Hi. Think this might be my first thread on here. Looking for some advice.

Some background - my friends and I set up a "season" every year where we play 20 or so games and give payouts and points to the top 3 in each game. Its a pretty large group of people. The top 10 point winners go to a final table, and the last 2 are chosen from a "last chance game" which is tonight.

Every time I play (with the exception of once this year) I finish in the top 3 at the table, but I've been busy so I haven't played enough games to get the points needed to qualify for the final table. So I'm playing the not-so-glorious last chance game.

Most of the people at this table are inexperienced. To the point where I'd be surprised if I don't win, but every once in a while these guys make the worst calls and suck out on me. They are very difficult to read because they really have no idea what they're doing. They'll raise with J6s and go all in with K2o. Sure, they get a hand every once in a while, but even then they don't know how to get the right value out of their hand, so its hard to tell what they're holding.

I'm a pretty tight player, but I get frustrated with lame raises and checking down the the flop with AA which is when I make stupid decisions. The guys at the final table are great players and its a decent pot this year so I'd love to make it to the table.

How would you approach this table tonight? Stay tight or play it fast and loose and try to price everyone out of the pots (not sure if that price exists though)?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
