Switching Games/Formats

Firstly some background,

Up until now i've only played NLHE tourneys with buyins from $5 to $20, i've been fairly succesful with a ROI of 90% (over around 300 tournaments),

however because of college etc. i dont have the time to play for 5+hours evrynight, ive decided to try and start playing cash games as they are obv more flexible timewise.

I guess from hearing druff talk about how with basic knowledge u can crush low stakes LHE, that would be a good game to learn...

What are the sort of things i should do to switch from NLHE tourneys mindset to LHE cash? what stakes should i start at? (BR is currently high 3 figures) can anyone recommend any books or link any articles that might help a complete beginner at the format?

Also what are general BR guidelines for LHE,
