****Official Wii Hacking Guide****

OK, here it is. Just now hacked my 3rd Wii. This should work on ALL Wii's.


What this will do

Allow you to play "backup" discs, aka, copies ripped off of net vis disc, USB HD or SD card.

Allow you to rip borrowed or rented games onto a USB HD or SD card to play whenever you want

Allow you to download virtua console games for free

Allow you to download Wii Ware for free

Allow you to play DVD's on your wii

Other random shit that people are constantly releasing

You Will Need

An SD card (over 1 gig or this wont work and no Micro SD with adapter shit either). Format it to Fat 32

An internet connection for the wii.

A gamecube controller (if you want to backup your system files incase you fuck this up)

What to do

Download These files

Extract them to your SD card

Start NUS Downloader v1.2 after unzipping that to your desktop

Click on Generate Certs

Tick Pack- WAD

Now go to Database>IOS>IOS15>v257 Then click start NUS download

This will download the IOS (Wii system files) and put them in a folder on your desktop.

Do this for the next few IOS

IOS>IOS15>v266
IOS>IOS36>v3094
IOS>IOS38>v3610

After thats done, grab the WAD files out of each of the folders that the program generated and copy them to the root of your SD card

So you should have these

IOS15-64-v257.wad
IOS15-64-v266.wad
IOS36-64-v3094.wad
IOS38-64-v3610.wad

Boot up your wii, fire up the data management screen, click channels, then SD card.

Put the SD card in the wii

You will get a message saying "Load Boot dol/elf?" Select YES

This will then run the installer.

At the main menu go up to Install Homebrew Channel and Press A.

Follow the prompts to install HBC.

THEN

go down to Bootmii and Press A.

Try to install Bootmii as Boot2 first. If it will not let you install it as Boot2 then install it as an IOS.

After Bootmii installs make a backup of your NAND


Backing up the NAND is FUCKING IMPORTANT. If something happens whilst doing this and you fuck up your wii, the NAND will be recoverable and you will be able to restore your Wii. Odds of something happening are 00000.1% but if the power cuts out whilst you are flashing your wii, then you are fucked.

YOU NEED A GAMECUBE CONTROLLER FOR THIS STEP - GO TO FAMILY DOLLAR OR WALMART OR SOME SHIT AND BUY ONE.

With the SD card in, Bootmii will open - to back up your nand, follow what this guy does in the video



Now you are safe from bricking.


OK now for the fun shit.




Start Trucha Bug Restorer (Launch with Homebrew Channel).

Press B to continue without IOS reload (ios at the top can be left as default)

After a few seconds you will get a message that says Press 1 to start the application. At that time press 1

Go to Downgrade IOS15 and press A.

When you see...

<load IOS from SD card> Press A.

When you see...

<load IOS from SD card> Press A.

After prepration...

Press A for Step 1
Press A for Step 2

Press Any button to exit the application.


PATCH IOS36:

Start Trucha Bug Restorer again.

Select which IOS to Load (Change to IOS15) and Press A.

Again after a few seconds you will get a message that says Press 1 to start the application. At that time press 1

Go to IOS36 menu and Press A.

Make sure you select the below settings...

Install IOS to Slot: 36
patch hash check (trucha): YES
patch ES_Identify: YES
patch nand permissions: YES

then go up to Install patched IOS36 and press A.

When you see...

<load IOS from SD card> Press A.

After preparation press A to install.

After the install is finished Press any button to exit


RESTORE IOS15:

Start Trucha Bug Restorer again.

Select which IOS to Load (Change to IOS36) and Press A.

Again after a few seconds you will get a message that says Press 1 to start the application. At that time press 1

Go to Restore IOS15 and Press A

When you see...

<load IOS from SD card> Press A.

After preparation press A to install.

After the install is finished Press any button to exit.

cIOS38_rev14:

Start the Homebrew Channel and run "cIOS38_rev14 Installer".

Select IOS36 for the IOS to use for Instillation.

Select WAD Installation.

After the cIOS is installed the Wii should reboot to the Wii Channel menu.


NeoGamma R7: THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL USE TO LOAD GAMES!!!

Run WAD Manager.

Select A to agree to the disclaimer.

Select IOS version to use: <IOS249> Press A.
Select NAND Emulation device <disable> Press A.
Select source device: <Wii SD Slot> Press A.
Go to NeoGamma_R7.wad and press A.
Select action: <install wad> press A.



AND THATS IT!



Burn your ISO's with Imgburn at 4x speed MAX.

DONT UPDATE YOUR CONSOLE VIA NINTENDO. THE DOWNLOAD PACK COMES WITH A 4.0 and 4.1 UPDATE IF YOU WANT TO UPDATE THEN DO THE 4.0 THEN 4.1 AFTER. THIS IS A SAFE WAY TO UPDATE AS IT HAS BEEN PATCHED SO IT WILL NOT REMOVE ALL YOUR HOMEBREW SHIT.

You can now have a sweet set up like this if using an external USB HD. The covers for the games will auto download if you have an SD card in the slot. Fucking sweet.

Burwitz is suspected of shooting at two residences, his ex-girlfriend's house on Meadowbreeze Court in the Town of Buchanan and another house, apparently chosen at random, on South Tahoe Court in Appleton, in Calumet County.

According to court documents, the occupants of the house in the Town of Buchanan were awakened about 2 a.m. Monday to the sounds of breaking glass.
