Weimaraner imo. i have a mixed dog right now. i've posted pics before but she looks exactly like jewdonk's dog but with less black on the snout. the next dog i get will be a Weinmaraner. they are just too cool.

Weimeraner's are beautiful, fit dogs and have excellent temperaments.
Aussie Shepards do have some traits that make them not always ideal for family pets (they are territorial and sometimes will show aggression towards children) so if your looking to breed dogs, then I think this might give you some problems.
Out of all the dogs you have posted the Rhodesian Ridgeback is in my opinion the best dog. A well trained ridgeback is an excellent family pet and guard dog. They are passive in their nature but are diversive so can be trained to act more as a guard dog for the family home. Plus you also have the added incentive that a pure breed Rhody with a strong ridge on their back is a highly saught after dog so if you are breeding they would be profitable.

FWIW Collies are extremely territorial and can be dog and human aggressive.
They are however a very intelligent dog and hugely energetic and respond well to training. Basically a well trained, balanced collie is an excellent dog.

another thing or problem is that most of the books i've been reading say all the dogs are intelligent. that can't be true for all of them.
