What he said and also the fact that it makes the people's lives around you worse, makes you withdraw from society,

Right on except for that last part. Below are the diff between what sports nerds or fantasy fags do and what I do on here.
1. I spend 95% less time on here than sports nerds do on things related to sports on TV. This includes........
A. Watching the games - (l
ive is ok, but don't be a sports nerd while your there, just chill out, talk to your buddies, look for girls, have some food/drink, look for girls, but don't wear your literally gay jersey, or dorky baseball cap to the game and sit there and go through a range of embarrassing emotions through out the game) Just anticipating the games coming up, making sure your in front of TV or you turn into a tantruming 5 year old, watching the games like a zombie for 10 hours straight, etc...
B. Watching sports center - I mean not only do you waste your time watching the game on TV (which is at least live and somewhat interesting and exciting, but still a very bad use of your time), but then you have to watch the replays. I don't mind so much just watching the top ten or the best plays of the year, but to watch a whole episode of sports center is just gay as fuck.
The absolute worst waste of your time under Fantasy is listening to anyone (I don't give a fuck if you think Lou Holtz is the smartest person alive, actually outside of football he is a dipshit, he can't tell the future well enough for anyone to listen to him about a future game or match up) speculate about what is going to happen. Actually the only thing worse is when people that know way less than the people on TV (99.9999% of the pop and yes that includes everyone here) speculate on what is going to happen in the future. C. Reading the newspaper - Read B and then multiply that by 10.
D. Talking to your buddies - I mean talk about a shallow, simpleton convo. It's like sitting around and talking about how crazy your Sims life is getting or how far you got on Halo or who's tougher Hulk Hogan or Macho Man. I know sports are real but they are only real to .000001% of the population. You don't learn anything meaningful about the other person, and don't give me the bullshit about how it is a convo starter.
First off get some social skills if you are dropping this low to start a convo, second off if everyone wasn't such a sheep it wouldn't be an option to start a convo with such dumb shit. E. Misc -
a. Chatting back and forth teasing time that happens in Fantasy, I mean WTF. Fantasy in general is so gross.
b.
Talking sports betting when the only research you do is from major media outlets and you lose more than you win by a lot (even if it's just a little your your still losing money while making your life worse, and just bec you win a little doesn't mean shit either bec your prob getting paid 20 cents and hour).
2. I laugh a lot on here, which is one of the healthiest things you can do. Next time you go to a sports bar and there is a big game on stop being a zombie and look around. All you will see is a bunch of other zombies staring at the TV (
with girls sitting next to them who act like they are sports nerds to make their man happy but really aren't. There is no easier girl to steal then one who is dating a sports nerd who is also trying to act like a sports nerd). What a great social scene or laugh factory.
This is the second hand smoke of sports nerds. This is how it effects society as a whole. If the sports nerd isn't sitting on his couch for 12 hours on Sat and Sun (
prob their only days off), he thinks he's upgrading by going to a bar. Well you are just making the scene worse if your boring ass is really going there to watch the game.
3. I have got a lot of info from here that has made my life considerably better. Torrents is just one example.
4. Most people on here talk about sports nerd shit. At least I use the little amount of time I spend on here talking about and learning about real life shit.
I have gone over all of these a million times.
Like I have said stop trying to fight the truth, and instead embrace it and start to slowly wean yourself off sports on TV. Just start cutting back little by little until you don't know who is in first place/don't have to be in front of a TV for any game/don't want to give oral to every jock on the planet.
