Are you kidding me? If this were true it would have certainly popped up on the official Twitter feed of North Korea.
http://twitter.com/kcna_dprkGood God, just read through some of the news stories. Keep in mind that this is where the North Korean population get their news from (at least im pretty sure); their only "connection" to the outside world.
http://bit.ly/1Qzlm DPRK Delegate Reiterates Its Stand on TerrorismPyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- It is the consistent stand of the Government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to resolutely oppose all forms of terrorism and any support to it, declared a delegate of the DPRK addressing the meeting of the Special Committee on International Terrorism held on June 29.
Terrorism is now steadily escalating in different parts of the world despite the international efforts to combat it, seriously threatening the lives of people, stability of societies and world peace and security and, furthermore, infringement upon sovereign states and extreme human rights abuses are being justified under the pretext of "war on terrorism", he noted, and continued: The United States invaded Afghanistan and Iraq and is escalating the "anti-terror war" not only in those countries but into their neighboring countries, massacring civilians. This is typical of state-sponsored terrorism and hideous human rights abuses.
If such state-sponsored terrorism is allowed to go on, international efforts to put an end to it will never prove successful.
All forms of struggle against terrorism should be waged in conformity with the objective and principles of the UN Charter and international law under any circumstances.
The DPRK delegation is of the view that what is most important for finally eradicating the root cause of terrorism is to ensure the independent development and equality of all countries and nations.
To this end it is necessary to establish a new international order based on mutual respect, equality, friendship and cooperation whereby all countries and nations may fully exercise their rights to independently live and develop.
The DPRK Government will creditably fulfil its responsibility and duty as a UN member state to finally put an end to all forms of terrorism and build a peaceful and prosperous world in the future, too, he concluded.
http://bit.ly/11Z8zW Stop to Hostile Policy toward DPRK DemandedPyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- The Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on June 24 on the occasion of the month of international solidarity with the Korean people.
The statement said that 59 years have passed since the U.S. imperialists ignited a war of aggression on the young DPRK and about 56 years have passed since the Armistice Agreement was signed but peace and stability have not yet been ensured on the Korean Peninsula.
It stressed that the Korean people have waged a vigorous struggle for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary
Kim Jong Il.
But the movement for Korea's reunification is now facing a grave difficulty owing to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and the anti-DPRK moves of the Lee Myung Bak puppet regime of south Korea, the statement noted.
Bitterly denouncing the U.S. imperialists and their stooges for their war moves, the statement urged them to stop at once their hostile acts against the DPRK.
It expressed full support for the Korean people in their struggle for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
http://bit.ly/3hCi1 Korean People Vow Vengeance on U.S. ImperialistsPyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The Korean people are hardening their mind to take revenge upon the U.S. imperialist aggressors, the sworn enemy, a thousandfold on the occasion of the "June 25, the day of the struggle against U.S. imperialism."
This year lots of servicepersons, working people, school youth and children have visited the Central House of Class Education, a place for indicting the crimes of the U.S. imperialists and a center for class education.
Listening to the explanation of the brutal atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialists while invading Korea century after century since the intrusion of the aggression ship "General Sherman", the visitors firmly vowed to take revenge on the enemies without fail.
At the Sinchon Museum where more than 4,000 pieces of data, remains and lethal weapons are on display, the visitors keenly realized once again that the U.S. imperialists are the only horde of brutes in the world.
Looking round the place where the ghouls machine-gunned and threw hand-grenades at people and burnt their bodies to ashes right before their fleeing, the torture room, the slaughter-site and others at the House of Class Education in Susan-ri, Kangso County, the visitors expressed their resolution to wipe out to the last one the pernicious murderers, wolves in human shape, if they pounce upon the Korean people again.
Kim Kyong Son, student of Kim Il Sung University, stated that the young people are keeping in mind the heroism displayed by the former generations during the past Korean war in which they mercilessly punished with arms of justice the U.S. imperialists who started the war, being proud of their "mightiness".
Jon Myong Dok, worker of the Taedonggang Battery Factory, said the working class of the DPRK will fully display the mettle of heroic Korea in the confrontation with the U.S., bearing deep in mind the truth of the history that it will emerge victorious when it fights against imperialism to the last and, if not, it should be subjected to disgrace and humiliation.
Meanwhile, working people of all strata, youth and students held meetings to denounce and take vengeance on the enemy and gatherings with witnesses. At the events they stated that they, with the right of avenger, the right of defender, would certainly settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists and root out the cause of war on the globe if the latter starts a war again.
