i glanced over the thread on 4... crunk is right. Other side are the touchy-feelies that don't think anyone should have personal responsibility and that punishment for wrong doing is mean, and that saying "im sorry" makes everything better. I love the defenders of mez... "but he's a good guy"... lolz Last I checked, part of the definition of being a "good guy" in poker is to play an honest game and not screw people over for money. Only saving grace in all this is that JDredd flat out owned them silly despite their cheating.

This is so clearly cheating and unethical that it's safe to say anyone that doesn't have a problem with this is borderline retarded.

These 2 should be 100% banned from Stars and made an example of since this probably happens more than most think and needs to be squashed.

I don't know what the point is of swapping 50% 3 handed if it's not to fuck over the odd man out. By Mez's own admission, he didn't know who Dredd was, doesn't that show intent? Also tough to call it cheating from Stars standpoint with the precedent they took in Caracas/H@LL issue.

Twin-Caracas & H@LLINGOL used to have an agreement where anytime they got heads-up they'd just check it down. This is back when 10/20nl was the big game and Stars had come out and said it was okay though I believe they had since changed their stance.

Any of this sort of stuff needs to be against the cardroom rules, whether live or online.

Obviously JDredd was being screwed here, as this is almost as bad as direct collusion.

I was at Commerce recently and was playing 60-120, which I almost never play. I was on the list for the 100-200 game. Anyway, apparently a lot of these 60-120 players are regulars and know each other, and one guy (who was kinda weak-tight) tossed $60 back to another guy in the BB after stealing both blinds pre-flop -- to where the blind-stealer won only the SB money, and the BB got a refund. I didn't bother to say anything because it didn't invovle me and I wasn't going to be in the game long. The problem here is that if I were to complain, I would be seen as the table asshole and all the regulars would hate me. This goes on at all limits -- even 400-800, and isn't even against Commerce's rules unless someone complains, at which point they make a temporary "no pushing or chopping" rule for that table only.

That's totally wrong. They should make it against the rules all the time, and they need to have the DEALER enforce it, so the players don't have to look like assholes when they complain.

Any form of soft-playing, action-swapping, or refund-giving is unethical and are all forms of cheating. This should never be tolerated in any poker game, whether live or online. Anyone engaging in this crap and ends up getting screwed (as Mezmerize did here) deserves it.

For the record, I have several friends -- some of them close friends -- who play in the same games as me. We always play each other hard and competitively. If one of us beats the other out of a lot of money, so be it. That's part of the game. The only thing we don't do is play heads up. If the game breaks down to the two of us, we'll sit out, but there's nothing unethical about that.

you are awful. see what some people do is relate one of their own experiences back to the original point to make a point. see druff at least makes intelligent posts, every post you make is trying to flame someone and really proving your uselessness with each successive post you make.

Brags about stupid, inconsequential things in life, such as having a hot tub - CHECK

Very guarded about real-life facts about yourself, most likely out of shame/embarrassment - CHECK

Repetitive, uncreative "pissed off e-tough-guy" image that has been done by countless others all over the net - CHECK

Listens to every NWP radio but is too afraid to call in, likely because you will sound stupid/boring/meek/different than your forum tough guy image - CHECK


I'd say those facts speak for themselves about you and your life without having to know any more.

That might be true BUT (and I'm not a druff hater by any means) your posts always seem to come out braggish for some reason. Maybe it's your nature, or just very high self confidence or whatever but you do really love being you and it seems to exude from just about everything you post.
