Richey Quarters Clements

Brett Richey was all in with {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Spades} against Scott Clements and his {Q-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {3-Spades} {2-Clubs}. The board read {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} when all of the money went in. The river produced the {6-Spades}, allowing Richey to grab three quarters of the pot.

Richey Chipping Up

Roland de Wolfe completed from the small blind and then Brett Richey checked his option in the big blind. The flop came down {K-Spades} {5-Spades} {2-Diamonds} and Roland check-called a bet of 25,000 from Brett.

The turn brought the {3-Spades} and Rland check-folded this time after almost three or four minutes in the tank when Brett fired 65,000.

Richey Inching Higher and Higher

On a flop of {K-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}, Brett Richey checked and then Scott Clements checked. The turn brought the {3-Spades} and Richey checked again. Clements fired 100,000 and Richey made the call.

The river finished the board with the {2-Spades} and Richey led for a pot-sized pot. Clements folded and Richey raked in the pot.

Brett Richey Eliminated in 2nd Place ($152,618)

After a raise and a call preflop, the flop came down {10-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} between Roland de Wolfe and Brett Richey. De Wolfe checked and Richey fired a bet of what looked like 140,000. De Wolfe announced that he was all in, which really meant that he was betting the pot. Richey then went all in and Roland made the call.

Showdown
Richey: {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts}
De Wolfe: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}

It would be Roland's two pair up against Brett's top pair and wrap draw. The two stood from the table and watched the dealer as the crowd swarmed the table.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and then the river was the {A-Hearts}. Richey failed to catch up and was eliminated in the second place. Roland de Wolfe won the hand and collected all of the chips. Richey took home over $150,000 for second place and his largest tournament score yet. De Wolfe won nearly $250,000 for first place and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet... his first!

And congrats to Roland - have hung out with him a few times. he's a nice guy. he was there when I was at a club with Devilfish and Tony G and Devilfish grabbed my boobs and I smacked the shit out of him

WTF? As drunk as I have been in my life I could not conceive doing that to some random gal. Would have been hilarious if you has him arrested for assault which you could have easily done and sued his ass. I have seen this loser on TV before and what a fucking scum bag I always thought.

Nice job, Crunk.
