I see Micon likes to burn up the FTP Super Turbo SNG Sats to the $750K. He lost 8 sunday but won 3 seats out of 12 last week. These look like a waste since you start with 300 chips but I'm guessing Micon sees some value in them or we wouldn't play them.

Anyone explain where you get the edge in these?

I haven't played the satellite versions but I play the regular 7.50's or the 15's and normally do ok with them. You obv have to develop a different strategy than playing a normal sng, but these are profitable as long as at least part of the field are donks (which there usually are)

bingo.

the short version is that it's usually correct to gamble, and some ppl fold.

i won $1k in one of the $14+1 super turbo 700+ man mtt... come 2nd out of a huge field.

i frequently burn up the 100 chip super-turbos into the fTOP tops or the weekly sunday 750k guar. i have no clue why they wouldn't have these for all their tourneys.

The $7-$55 super turbo sngs are profitable but don't expect to make more than 10% at best over the course of 1k games.

What strategy do you use for the begining of these?

Do you just push with anything to try to double quick and abuse the small stacks? Or you actually wait for a good hand to push with. It seems since you start with only 10BBs you got to push with anything decent.
