Hey I was just listening to the radio show archives and I heard about Mark Seif possibly cheating on AP. I posted about this hand on my blog the day after it happened as I totally felt cheated and I would like hear your opinions now after the fact. I realize he had the button and I was pretty short but I honestly don't know how he calls preflop (oh yeah I forgot it was sooted LOL) or river. I folded every hand up until this point that is why I was at 1300 and I never showed any strength until this hand. I don't know if he could see my cards or not but after he busted me I was amazed and I felt cheated and now 2.5 years later all this comes out about AP. My gut is usually right and it tells me that I was cheated but I am also a poor loser so please discuss.

First of all, shove that flop. The pot is about half your stack, and you either have to bet half the pot or all of it because you don't wanna leave your babies in the middle. I know it can be tough to bluff two players and the board texture is iffy because people like to play with a Jack in their hand as well as calling off with flush draws, but at least give yourself a chance to rep Aces or Kings and c-bet and increase your stack by 50%. Although that is not the issue here. It's Mark Seif. If you have ever seen the guy play, or listen to Gobboboy on Poker Road radio, it is clearly evident the guy always calls ridiculously light pre and post flop. He is the type who will limp with AJo, have it raised and re-raised to him, and cold call. He's the guy who called off all his chips with A3o at a WPT Final Table after asking the crowd if he should call or not...............half of which were students at that WPT Boot Camp they run. Just take a look at this thread's HH: http://www.neverwinpoker.com/forums/shooti...read-t4782.htmlHe is a big time calling station, and more often than not players stack off to him because they can never see him hitting 2 pair on the turn or river when they have a top/top type of hand, they overplay it...........as evident when he ran like a god when he won 2 WSOP bracelets in a row. Not to chide your play for not knowing this, but it is not best to bluff this type of player UNLESS you purposely overbet the pot sometimes whether you have it or not because these players like to tear off cards and intimidate players with their ridiculous gamble. It also helps them get free cards too. And still even then, he'll prob call off with bottom pair because he is Mark Seif, and it's on his website where he's probably not even putting in the 60 bucks out of his wallet. It's like a freeroll to him. That, and he may been able to see your hole cards lol. He's never answered the question fully, and their have been instances where a friend of Druff had been playing Seif HU in limit, sucked out a few times and then showed him a bluff, Seif told him that he would "come back and make him pay".....only to run like a god and make ridiculously marginal calls throughout the rest of the night. Although I doubt that's the case now.
