Is there a better drum barrage than the opening of Metallica's Harvester of Sorrow? Lars is a fucking maniac here. You can feel his anger in the strikes. Level of difficulty is about an 8. Especially from :58 - 1:15.

I personally would go with the drumming, especially starting around 2:20 -- Neil Pert was likely the best drummer in the world for quite a few years, and this is coming from a major Lars fan.

I am the first to admit that I have a pretty big arsenal of psychological issues and plenty of regrets in my life, but one thing I am not and have never been, is a liar or a thief. I am fucking bi polar basket case, and my life may be a trainwreck of epic proportions...

Is there a bigger internet cocksucker, than Jewdonk? I thought TheKing65 was a no life cunt, but Jewdonk, you have him beat hands down. It amazes me how this prick manages to ignore every comment aimed at him and thinks he 'wins' because he doesn't reply. Congratulations Mr 44 year old Jewdonk twat, you truely are a winner in life.

I think when I was about 14 or so I heard Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning for the first time. I still get a rush listening to the Four Horsemen.
IN 1991, I saw them live at the Miami Arena when they just started promoting there Black Album tour. I cant honestly remember who even opened. It was my first concert where literally every person was smoking a joint or openly passing one to the stranger next to them. At that point in my life though, it was definitely the most stoned I had ever been.
This was before the advent of napster and songs being leaked before their official release, so must of us had not heard any of their new stuff yet.
The 2nd to last song (with them obv coming back on stage to perform "One" which I had never in my life heard a better guitar solo than Hammet did that night), began with the most amazing high string chords that I had ever heard. Def not metallica esque. It was "Nothing Else Matters". I thought at the time, it was the most beautifiul song I had ever heard and so different from all there other work.
What was even more remarkable was that Hetfield played guitar solo throughout the whole song. Still ranks among my #5 favorites songs of my generation.
I remember the first time I ever had sex, her name was Ashley. She was in 9th grade and I was in 10th. I guess she was my first highschool girlfriend. Beauituful blonde, with green eyes and a hellacious Texas accent. I didnt even mind the braces.
She loved the song as much as I did and many a morning, we would leave school right after her Mom, another Texan who seemed to hate me and want to strike me with all of gods wrath, and we would head back to my dads house. We would smoke weed, listen to Metallica and make love in a fashion that I dont think I could even comprehend anymore. Those were some very good days. A much simpler time. There were no river suckouts, internet forums, just a guy and his girl and their music.
lLast I heard on one of those classmates finder things, she was married with a couple of rugrats somewhere in nowwhere Texas. I know most of you have a song, that takes you back in time. And makes you think of someone you hadnt in years. Everytime I hear this song, I always think of her.
Ashley this is for you

Neal Pert was / is amazing. Some forget how good of a drummer Phil Collins is too. This video picks an old-timer as #1 and might just be right..Buddy Rich kicks ass.

Metallica didn't have an opening act that tour they played that like 30 minute introduction to Metallica for all the new fans Enter Sandman had attracted.
Froze my ass off camping out for tickets for the 3 nights they played here that tour. 24 hours+ camped outside the ticket bus in Denver in the middle of like December lol. As handy as the internet is for tickets there was nothing like camping out with a bunch of crazy fans all night.
I love Metallica and Rush and was lucky enough to see them both during their prime many times. If we're talking heavy metal though I have to go with Dave Lombardo over Lars... The guy is an absolute beast in concert, I've never seen anything like him. No idea how someone can have that amount of energy for two hours with perfect timing.
Go to 4:55 mark if you don't want to watch 9 minutes.

Probably one of the top 3 avatars of all time.
It has so much... tea bagging, implied cuckolding, three-holes-no-waiting pack mentality, and guerrilla bukkake while still taking the time to promote safe sex.
