It took an unhealthy amount of time to get all these pages over to this thread, but it's the last good comic I've read in awhile and I thought it'd be the type of comic that non comic book fans might like. Hope you enjoyed.

Yeah this story could have well been a direct sequel to the movie, with Joker being portrayed pretty similar to Heath Joker.
Grant Morrison had an interesting take on the Joker, that the guy reinvents his reality everyday or so, and that's why in some stories he can be a goofy clown robbing banks with toys, or a rampaging murderer in a different story.

Would have been a pretty awesome movie if that was the sequel, still I think Ledger's performance as the joker will never be topped and cannot see anyone else playing the role.
