Druff-
What, if any, preflop adjustments have you found necessary to the weird preflop blind structure at pokerstars?
Do you raise more out of the small blind?
Do you reraise more out of the BB/Button?
I play a good deal of heads up limit, but am having a difficult time analyzing what adjustments would be necessary preflop with the SB and BB reversed...

Some of you might be wondering what the hell is in this photo.
You're looking at the very first bust-out at the 2004 World Series of Poker.
While on the way to Vegas, some poker player ran into a coyote on the road, and dragged it along on their front bumper for...

Just would like to know if you have an income that isn't poker related.

Check out the entry for Andy Glazer at the IMDB:

You'll see that a lengthy biography was submitted -- by Andy himself!
The IMDB exists through user submissions. Andy obviously submitted all of his own information, including his picture and biography.

So Dan.. I saw that you were a bbser in the 80s. What was your first modem/computer? How old school are you? When'd you get on the net? Before the web? Anyone else want to fess up to being a bbs user who is now an online pro?
The first modem I owned was a 300 baud modem. After login, you could manuallly jack up the speed to 450 from a menu option. That was roughly my reading s...

Dan Druff-
Do you estimate your taxes and pay quarterly? I'm assuming your returns are somewhere in the mid six figures range. I will clear low six figures this year from poker and have determined that it will likely be better for me to file as a self employed professional rather than dump the income into other income via gambling income. That having been said, this is the first year I wi...

You mentioned a few weeks ago about playing in a 400-800 game at the Commerce, can you give us an insight into this:
Skill levels of players at this level, what kind of buy in required and what size of pots can you get etc
And finally did you leave the game a winner!?...

LA I know I have called you a dumbass in the past but from what I hear you are a pretty good omaha player. I got a few questions for you or other omaha players.

Anyone who has watched me play on Stars or other sites has almost certainly witnessed a fair amount of trash talk on my part. Trash talking is not only a good stress reliever from bad beats, but it also serves a practical purpose in increasing your winnings.
Trash talk against good players doesn't usually have much of an effect. It will usually cause them to pay off your bluffs (and...

HELLO DAN DRUFF,
IN THE LETTER YOU WROTE ME, I DO NOT THINK ITS IN OUR BEST FAVOR TO TAKE THE RESTRICTED LABEL OFF THE HIGHER LIMIT GAMES. THUS YES WE DO PROTECT THE DONKS FROM TOP PLAYERS, AND I JUST WISH I HAD PROTECTED YOU AS YOU FALL INTO THAT CATEGORY, AND YOU HAVE GOT EVERY DEPOSIT BONUS WE HAVE HAD SINCE YOU STARTED. IS THAT IN PART DUE TO THE BAD PLAY THAT YOU DO? I DONT...

I just finished watching the final episode of the first series of TILT. There were 9 episodes in this opening season.
I actually grew to like the show, and my primary complaint about it is the fact that the poker scenes are, for the most part, stupid and unrealistic. Many of these poker errors could be corrected simply by allowing a knowledgeable poker player review the scenes, and...

I'm playing in the $10+1 rebuys on PokerStars. The rebuy period is over and the blinds are 100/200 with a $25 ante, so the starting pot is $525. I have $9425.
I raise to 400 with the KQ hearts under the gun. Everyone folds to the small blind, who calls. The big blind folds. There is $1225 in the pot
The flop comes J93 with one heart and one spade. The SB bets 200, I raise...

Why did it take Pokerstars so long to create the 10/20 NL tables? And why don't they make higher NL tables like a 25/50?
Is it for the same reason they restrict the 100-200 game?

I'm curious as to what some of you guys think with this. My best friend and I both got into poker together, and he plays his draws more aggresive than I do. For instance, if I am open-ended on the flop, I will almost always semi bluff by opening with a bet (or raising a bet once), however if I am raised I usually will just call, or 3 bet it (if I think the guy is full of shit, which happens often...

Tobey Maguire was at the Bellagio last night (and likely many nights before), playing 100-200 blind NL. He was basically left alone most of the time, until all of the club donks started filtering out, walking past the poker room. Eventually large crowds gathered outside the rail for hours, and my 80-160 table was closest to the railtards. Occasionally someone would shout something stupid, and a...

Okay I have a question about how to play JJ in a certain situation, because me and SolomonL disagree about it.
It's a two-table $5.50 SNG. The blinds are $25/50 I gave the red jacks in the cutoff. We are eight-handed, and two of the first four players limp in. I have $2825 or so in chips. I raise to $250, since i have a lot of chips and I want to thin the field. The button has $2180 a...

I have been told there is a hotel right across the street (a Ramada?), but that it is not very nice. It is like $55 a night. The Commerce and the Wyndam are about double that, plus I should prolly expect $30-$40 in cab fares to get to and from t...
