One thing I have noticed and I don't know I could be talking out of my ass here, as I have never seen it talked about in articles, and this is button play strategy. Say you are on a full table and are holding...ohh I don't know 7-10 suited on the button it folds all the way around to you and you have just the SB and BB left. Allot of people want to steal the blinds here and make a bet to get them...

I have been playing a lot on the limit 6 player tables. BTW the 6 player tables seem to have a neon light that says "loose players come here". Anyways they seem to constantly bet their draws. I have ace queen, the flop is queen 7-8 with the 7-8 suited. They bet out with their strait or flush draw.
My question is this, should i re raise the flop (which is what I have been doing) or...

With this situation where is my math wrong? If you have a different opinion please let me know Druff.
Dealers up card is a 10,
-Therefore if downcard is 2,3,4,5,6 will have to hit, if 7,8,9,T,J,Q,K will stay. Therefore 41.6% chance of hitting. (You know dealer doesn't have an ace since it is checked).
-With the 41.6% chance of hitting, dealer will go bust with 6,7,8,9,T...

This is my absolute FAVORITE game. Anyone else like this? I tear this game up waaaaaaayyyyy more against inexperienced players, then at holdem (I suck). For a while I comepletly owned JetSet's PLOHL tourneys, but then lost most of my cahs playing 3/6 holdem. Now a renewed love of it playing some at UB been teeeeaaaaarrring it up.

Has anybody noticed a difference in skill level on the various sites around???? I am wondering if some site tend to attract more fish than others or are they all about the same?
Alternatively if anyone out there plays on a few of them, how would you say they rank from most challenging to least???
Any comments?

So I was at the casino the other night, and when I asked what the had tonight they told me 3-6 (the usual) and 3-60, I didnt ask about that because I thought I just heard wrong.
Anyway I was just wondering What are the general rules for this one. I assume its played like 2-8 spread. Is it just basically you can bet anywhere from 3-60 at anytime, and raise someone at least his bet...

For about a year now, I've primarily played $20 and $30 SNGs along with mainly $2-$4 limit (though with some 1-2, 3-6, and 5-10 mixed in).
Over last summer I made about $7K and during this year I've made about $8K so far (since last summer). Much of that came from $2-$4 shorthanded, but recently I've been getting killed in the game (seemingly by very bad luck, but of course this ma...

Just want an opinion and was wondering whether or not you have ever considered making one of your own. I think it would be good for some of the fish (like me) out there to have one. I just have no clue as to where I would start or else I would make one of my own. Have you ever considered making one or do you think they are just stupid?...

I was clearing a bonus at the Pokerroom last night, playing 5/10 shorthanded.
I really got my ass handed to me. I was playing (2) five-handed tables. At both tables at least (3) of the other players were seeing 50% of the flops. In other words the they were really good tables. It was not uncommon to see a family pot. And probably around half of the flops were (4) handed.

Hey Druff..seeking some guidance in the ps 1/2 and 2/4 nl. I'm having difficulty beating this game consistantly, I find that it is significantly more difficult to beat than the .50/1.00 and changing gears has not worked for me. I've even started only buying in for 50/75% of the max buyin so I can play a little looser and try to hit some big flops. I'm thinking game selection is probably the bigge...

As some of you also know, I have had a frustratingly bad 2005 at the 100-200 game on Stars.
Sometimes I feel strange about complaining of "bad luck", because that's basically what everyone says when they lose, whether true or not. Most people also play worse when they're running bad, and while I never...

As I posted about blackjack before, I stated how I have a set cash goal when I go the casino if I'm just playing blackjack. As Druff said, which I do believe, players like this do not have any kind of advantage as who knows how the card...

I have a few pet peeves regarding live poker.
One of them involves people who attempt to not show their hand down until they know for sure that they've won. Even if it's their turn to show, they will announce their hand, hoping to muck it if you turn yours over first and they can't beat it. Often I let this go, but I always take a stand when someone tries (and fails) to run me off t...

I'm curious as to how long a newbie should take before he moves up the ladder of limits. Obviously, it will vary greatly depending on each person, so I'm just looking for loosely based general guesses. I've been playing for about 1 yr. and I'm sure I haven't progressed as much as I should, so I figured I'd ask you all. Believe it or not, I'm kind of content making a couple hundred a week at 1/2...
