Alot of the companys making MMO's now fail because they try and recreate something thats been established for a while and has crazy ammounts of subscribers (What Warhammer Online did to World of WarCraft). But since the creation of Ultima Online back in the mid 90's there has been a certain ammount of hardcore oldschool MMO players that have tried and failed on a dozen or so Flash in the Pan MMO's looking for the one that fills the PvP void thats out there.

Until DarkFall Online there is nothing that remotely has come to fill that nitche, why is that? Skilled PvP with full looting has been absent in 99% of all launched MMO's because it scares new players off. Companys don't want new playe first experiance to get so far in a quest or farming materials for a couple hours to make an item then someone can swipe by in 5min and nullify all that work. Honestly there isn't THAT big of a market for a full PvP and full loot game but since no game has done is successfuly yet I am damn sure the community will be more loyal than a bunch of Blizzard fanboys stroking eachother off comparing there uber loot.

Game is suposed to come out in a month (in my honest opinion it wont make the release date) but do your own research on the game and see if it tickles your fancy. I know a bit about it so any questions/comments let me know. This game isn't for the faint of heart, if you aren't good at FPS's or PvP you better stick to WoW, at the very least you need to do is roll with a crowd that knows WTF they are doing. Its not a game that holds your hand either, the learning curve is pretty steep (since there is ALOT of skills and the world is about 6x the size of WoW).

I'm fine with you guys thinking your pissing me off or something acting like this but we all know where im going to end up in poker when being serious. I am up almost 10k this summer in micro FR and 6 max 15-20 tabling and I have tons of backers but yep just keep laughing at me and i'll keep dedicating my life to improving my poker game and getting somewhere big in life.

I have been thinking about this and have to agree for the most part about filling a niche market.... but if they don't keep the duping, hacking and bugs to 0% then this will fade to black pretty quickly. I played some DII pvp for a while and there were people exploiting certain bugs and using duped uber-equipment, once you realized you were playing with them you could just pick your corpse up (minus the ear) and go to another match, nothing lost other than time. In a full on PVP/Loot game, nobody wants to dedicate time and energy to building up a character and equipment to lose it in one split second to a cheater.

Otherwise this sounds like it could be a pretty epic game.
