Michigan St./Michigan over 56. (pinnacle)
This game will be a shootout. The only reason this number is this low is because Michigan's D is vastly overrated. They are yet to face an offense like Michigan State's. Michigan State returns basically the exact same unit from last years team that ran all over UM's defense. If not for Stanton getting injured in the first half, MSU may have put up 50+ in regulation. On the other side, people are starting to talk about how Michigan St.'s D is starting to put it together, which is an overstatement to say the least. Both of these teams have weapons on offense and question marks on defense. I like the over here.

I'll start this statement by saying I'm a Michigan Wolverines season ticket holder, that being said I'll try to make a statement without bias. I don't think Michigan's "D" is overrated..... I think everyone knows it is horrible. I think the concern here is: Can Michigan score points with Lyold Carr calling the plays? Yes MSU should score about 40 with Jim Herman's defensive play calling (Can we actually call it play calling), but Lyold Carr will try to play conservative as always on Offense until we are down 40-3 with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter..... Problem is we have no Braylon Edwards this year..... If you feel Michigan will score at least 20 in this game, then the over is a safe bet. I'd be careful on this game for the over. If the pread is MSU -10 or less, I would jump on that.

I'll start this post off by saying I am a Spartan alum and lifelong fan.
As much as I'd like to say State is going to kill them, back up the truck and unload on MSU -4, there are some things that hold me back.
First UM basically owns MSU in football. Almost like a Yankees-Red Sox thing. And although they are significantly handicapped by their coaching staff, Michigan still has more talent.
But as for the over, here are some telling stats:
MSU Defense: Gave up 301 passing yards to Kent State
Gave up 487 yds passing to ND (Walker also rushed for 116)
MSU Offense: Gaining roughly 600 yds per game
Of their opponents, Michigan most closely resembles ND and I expect a very similar game.
Good Luck.

It hurts too much to explain why at -4 MSU is a great bet. Trust someone who knows UofM football inside and out....... This would actually be a great game to use Live Betting because if for some reason Lyold Carr gets a brain and comes out passing then buying UofM might be worth it, but the odds of him doing that are equal to your odds of winning the Lotto. Will someone help me start www.FireLyoldCarr.com?

I agree, but I still think the over is the bet. I'll probably bet the bar tab with my buddy from UM on the line. I heard gambling on tabs is so Rocks and Rings.
I think someone already registered firelloydcarr.com, but here are two good sites:
www.firelloydcarr.us
www.lemoncarr.com

I personally like the "My other Carr is a lemon" license plate.
