Budman's 9/26 (mon nite)

This clearly was one of my worst weekends ever for football wagering. Although I felt I was on the right side on all the games, everything seemed to have just started late or went against me with the bounces. I know.. Excuses blah blah. I am truly embarassed (and lighter in the pocket) but don't know why because I know my past performance. Just a drop in the bucket for me this weekend will be with 150+ more games to go. (Man, I sound like a POS boiler-room "Tout" now)

Most of you are probably wondering how I could even show my face around here after that debacle. I do too! But I promise I will never post again in this forum if I have a repeat like that next weekend.

In the mean time, I have these going for Monday Night:

1. TENNESSEE (+6 1/2) - over lsu (Buy 1/2 point to +7)
2. KC CHIEFS (+3)
3. KC CHIEFS/DEN BRONCOS - {OVER} 47

2. TWO TEAM 7 PT. TEASER:

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (+3) to (+10)
and
FRESNO STATE (-9 1/2) to (-2 1/2)

The Tennessee game...I would lay off it. It actually looks like a good bet, but I think I would lay off it this time. The game got delayed for travel arrangements, etc. You don't know how the players will come out tonight.

In just a couple minutes of scanning the forum this morning, this is already the second post by someone defending their Colts bet......boys, gotta learn when a losing bet was a bad idea. Sometimes you'll be on the right side and have "bad luck", but it sure as hell wasn't in that game.

We were wrong.....Colts -13.5 was a mistake. They didn't even score 13.5 points LOL Even though they were 10 yards away from going up 20-6 at the end.....it's a sixty minute game. With the way the Colts O performed, 13-6 was the BEST possible score. They could've lost that game.

If you want to be a winning bettor, stock trader, poker player, anything......have to be willing to admit mistakes and try to learn to avoid making the same ones again.

and that'll teach you to bet against the patriots

I agree with laying off the UT/LSU side. However, I do think that the under 44 is a strong play, and will be on it myself. GL.

Good call on the Vols game Budman. You won it outright. Tough night on the others. KC came out pretty flat.

KC came out real flat and TENN did as well. The difference here was that TENN was able to pul themselves out of it and regroup at half, KC didn't. Then at least the OVER would have came in as well spliting my bets. And after this weekend a split is considered great for me at this point.

Time to regroup and pick myself up and brush off. If you been around sports betting long enough you know these types of weekends will happen. Hopefully most everyone here being poker players already is aware of the 'every that can go wrong will' streaks that occur. It is just that I had impecable timing to post on the weekend it would happen to me.

Look for much stronger upcoming weekend.
