why would he post under the gun instead of when he first sat down? the jackpot was within minutes when he got to the table, he was just nitting out and got punished for it, and even if he woulda posted his blinds on any hand prior to the jackpot, it woulda went out on another table. Sorry but this guy isnt owed anything.

I am not saying I am right but I watched most of it, and my gut instinct is that PokerStars had nothing to gain by leaving him out and actually spent a lot more money by not "jewd-ing" the Frost guy too.... it just doesn't add up. I am not buying it and neither were the angry mob waiting to kick this guy when he was down and still sitting at the table an hour later hinting for donations. If he had got robbed with that many people watching, there would have been some people being supportive instead of the non stop ridicule and ass raping.
It wouldn't surprise me if Stars ends up shipping him something for publicity's sake... but it doesn't change my view of what really happened.
Other than man/woman minutes spent reviewing the situation I fail to see how it cost them more money since they took the 150K meant for the winner of the hand and split it between the two who split resulting in them each getting 75K. the 250K originally meant for the table was not exceeded: 2 got 75K, and 3 got 33,333.33(possibly one of em got 33,333.34) equaling 250K. As far s the tournament packages that were up for grabs they likely will split them equally between the 2 "winners". If I am missing something let me know.

They announced that they were giving TWO complete prize packages because it was a split pot.... and one package went to a mucked hand.
PokerStars spent more money AFTER reviewing it by allowing Frost (who had timed out) to be included in the final pot even though his cards had been mucked. The 100k for the table split would have cost Stars absolutely ZERO to split with one more non-winner.
Nobody seems to be addressing the fact that the company spent 10's of thousands of dollars (the double prize package) more on a mucked hand being "replayed" because the guy was timed out, while supposedly deciding to screw some guy who can't spell "ante" saving themselves absolutely nothing. If PokerStars was up to shenanigans, they would have left Frost out of the mix also since his cards went into the muck and saved themselves a bunch of money.
The other interesting tidbit was the guy (Tupapi?) who originally won the whole thing was completely cool with his cash being cut in half when they reinstated the mucked hand of Frost because he knew it was fair.... but before the hand was dealt the other players were already bringing up the fact that Confedrate shouldn't qualify because he didn't post and NONE of them came to his defense when the TD came to the table... they knew what had happened just like 99% of the rest of us believe it happened.
Fuck it... I could be wrong but right now it can't be any clearer to me.... dude thought he would sit out and then jump in at last second, got shut out by the cruel hand of fate (and a "sever" that gave him a personalized message that nobody else ever got).
