Don't get involved in any big online tournaments either. You don't want to get blinded off because a bus crashes through your living room or something.

i wont even be gambling til later for that exact reason there.

but i don't have a digital camera sad.gif and even if i did, there would be nothing too cool happening where i live. i mean its raining right now and its gettin a little windy, but nothing major. ill post some cool shit as it happens. and if ne really cool shit goes down near my apt. ill take my friends camera phone, send it to my email and post it here :-D :-D

like if a tree goes through a car or some shit

This is all being overblown.

No doubt the hurricane will cause a lot of damage (and probably a few deaths among those too stupid to leave), but it won't come near destroying New Orleans.

They had the same scare last year, and it ended up being for nothing.

I would be shocked if this storm sunk New Orleans "under 15 feet of water", or anything close.

I AM NOT INTO HYSTERIA EITHER BUT THIS ONE IS A MAJOR BITCH

Around 3 years ago I lost my home along with 2 vehicles due to a tornado with est 180-190 mph winds. For 10 seconds we all thought we were going to die. This bitch is is going to have winds almost that hard and is miles wide and will last for hours. I think if it hits NO head on you wont be able to imagine the destruction.

I think the high winds were created when druff twirled that seat cover, creating a whirlwind of not only air, but dorkiness

well i think the hardest winds extend around the eye wall, and if it hits where it is supposed to, i live about 60 miles from there, and im on the west side of the storm so other from some kinda hard winds and rain, ill be ok. plus like i said earlier my apt building is solid as shit (at least i think it is) so lets hope ill be ok

We need to get all the fans in the US down in New Orleans right now so we can blow the hurricane back to sea.

If you happen to be in New Orleans, contrary to what some high limit regulars around here might tell you...... FOLD YOUR HAND. Do NOT call Katrina's bluff.

David, if your not in a concrete/brick structure I would get on 55 and head north, they are talking about this thing fucking up Jackson Miss, which is way north of you. Your decision and it sucks to have to make one, good luck.

Is it just me or is Katrina an awfully sexy name for a hurricane? It's kind of distracting.

Next year they should go with 'Bertha' or 'Gertrude'.
