And I'm not defending Brandy here...she's lived her young life in a depraved way which was LONG touted and hosted here on THESE boards. But the fact that she's twisted doesn't obviate DS from his part in things...at least not in my book.
And it doesn't matter, because the majority of ALL OF THIS was being played out HERE at 2p2...because aside from this SUDDEN change of heart, this type of behavior does not stoop below the lofty standards of 2p2...but whatever Newhizzle and Druff did (what did they do again, btw?) DOES.
It doesn't matter much, I've not posted here as of late as a result of all of this. So if you guys are drawing lines in the sand here...kindly move my name to the side that doesn't include the predatory behavior of DS and all the BS hypocrisy.

For some reason, this whole Brandi Hawbaker nonsense is fascinating to me. I tend to find crazy hot women and con artists interesting, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
I frankly am amazed that Brandi Hawbaker can pull one over on anyone, much less people who are used to scams and con artists and the kind of characters one can encounter in a poker room.
She is one-dimensional. Her posts, where she brags about taking Skalansky for thousands (plus computers, etc.) for example. She is as subtle as a bus. How do you not see that coming at you? She would be a more effective con if she were, well, nicer. If she did something altruistic or non-egocentric for a change. But she doesn't. Perhaps that is why she hasn't gone on to bigger, better victims/frauds/schemes. Perhaps that is why she isn't locked up long term.
But how anyone can have this person take advantage of them at this stage is truly beyond me.
David Sklansky seems just as weird, however. He writes these carefully worded essays that appear to be designed to take the reader from the point of disbelief and disdain for him in a step-by-step process to being sympathetic. They look like they are engineered after the fact. Like the work of a bad defense lawyer attempting to explain the conduct of his very guilty client. At the end of the day, he still looks creepy. His implied threat of throwing acid is the worst thing of this whole deal. Why isn't anyone else concerned with that? He shacks up with an inbred, he's not ashamed of her, he shows her in public, so why would he be so upset that he threatens to throw acid on a young woman if she doens't disappear from the poker scene (one interpretation of his purported email). IF that email is real, he is real sick, without even addressing the roommate issue.
Brandi may survive by stripping, borrowing, mooching, plinking chips and being hot (at least for a few more years). That is sort of pathetic and its too bad she doesn't have something bigger than herself and her immediate needs to satisfy her.
But Sklansky needs help, and if anyone was thinking straight an implied threat against another player, who he was supposedly "mentoring" would be unacceptable.
Ah heck, they're both nuts. They deserve each other.
