look i dont want to get into a big rigged v non rigged argument with anyone, least of all after posting that goofy hand in the bellagio thread, but some shit went down this morning that i just cannot wrap my head around...
so ill just leave it at; are there superuser concerns on the sb.com cake skin?
the cashout concerns are valid and well documented btw, but i can stomach that honestly, im just literally dizzy from the beating i took this morning (-500BB in under 45 minutes playing HU with a guy named #1grandpa), where he hit almost every single flop, and managed to river trips after capping bottom pair, or peeling with absolute air vs top pair and going runner runner flush.. it was just a circus of apocalyptic suckouts.
honestly im really not convinced that he wasnt just running supernaturally hot (it happens, absolutely) and that i didnt tilt off a good 20% of that stack (o lord does it ever happen), but in this day and age i think it pays to at least voice concerns..
and its not like im worthless at LHE, here are my stats for the weekend leading up to this morning:
obviously im not a complete dipshit when it comes to LHE, although im absolutely capable of playing hands badly, no question, i just want to know if i should dust myself off and grind my way back or if im facing a potentially unwinnable situation, in which case its in my best interests to just cash out the remainder of my roll and hope the check doesnt bounce when it arrives in 6 weeks.
just trying to find my bearings and get some feedback from people whose opinions i trust in what i a place where open minded, mature discourse seems to be the rule rather than the exception.

Just ask for ID from 18 year old girls when you fuck them. You wouldn't want a 16-17 year old to slip in there and get you put in the pokey.

I would post the ultrasound pic, but I don't want my child to be the youngest person ever photoshopped sitting next to hofnig or some other random black cock.

You had a bad session. 50 bb's isnt that much. I've won/lost 50 bb's in a session so many times. But, HU lhe below 50/100 is tough to beat because the rake is usually the big winner. I don't think you'll win playing 10/20 HU unless you find somebody that you have a huge advantage against. I'd say at that level you are better off just game selecting it really well, and only playing games where you see 1 or 2 big donks playing.

Yeah. 50 BB and the sample size in that graph is statistically insignificant. Sounds like you should've reloaded and played that guy more if you weren't tilting too bad. Especially HU and especially LHE, you're going to have to play several tens of thousands oh hands before you have an idea how you're doing.

really, thank you both for the comments. typically im playing way outside my roll and when i get blindsided like this, i just tend to meltdown a little and lose perspective.
ill just stick with full ring for a while and try to get my sea legs back.
sfgunshy tho. definitely need to take a day off.
also the graph wasnt supposed to be like "OMG IM A LONG TERM WINNING PLAYER", i just added it to show that im not a pathological donator at these limits and couldnt quite accept that this morning was standard variance. obviously i think its healthiest for me to accept that thats all it was.
again, really, thanks.

Good. The 16 year olds are unhappy but the law is happy.

This sounds good. Keep in my mind, because HU has so much variance, the swings are huge, and on top of that they're more frequent. I'd suggest moving down a couple levels from the stakes you usually play if you're going to play it. Of course, as SetofKs says, the rake is bad at low limits, and even worse lower than 10/20. I think 10/20 HU LHE is probably quite beatable against most players, but 3/6 is hardly worth playing.

500 BB in an hr? That sounds impossible. I lost 50 bb in 15 mins the other night hu but it was to an nwper. But 500 bb? Thats pretty sick.

totally a typo, my apologies.
50BB aka 1000$ = correct.

I'll be honest with you; I find stakes lower than 10/20 unbeatable, most of all because I end up not giving a shit about the money involved so I make less than winning plays.
10/20 LHE is very much my comfort zone. When I grind out a full days work at 10/20 LHE, I am satisfied with the results pending rapechokes like this morning.
Its unfortunate that I cant really afford to play there but in terms of mental health and emotional reward, I think its worth me concentrating on until I can pull off a reasonably sustainable winrate.
I just need to avoid these short handed swings and concentrate on the fundamentals in FR I suspect, at least until I can afford to put all this short handed theory into practice without having a tear-eyed suicide fit everytime I lose a buyin.

#1Grandpa is fucking terrible. He is completely aggro, and nothing else. So yea if hes hitting, you're basically fucked. However, Qhi is usually good against the retard.

he hit every. single. flop. and the ones he didnt hit, i would get it in good with and he would slam like a gutshot on the river.
it was the single greatest facefucking i have ever suffered in poker to date.
