if you want to be successful, you will have to be able to come to terms with the fact that you are going to lose this "race" around 20% of the time. you need to accept this and be OK with it, speaking especially in terms of emotion.

your mistake is results-oriented (speculative) thinking, which is a fundamentally incorrect way to approach poker. you got your money in as a 4-1 favorite, be happy with that and move on.
