long time lurker first time poster. Only reason I posted is to hopefully have some of you degen's avoid the issues I am having with BoDog and their payouts. Below is the email chain of communication I have been having with them about 3 payouts. $2400.00 total. Not the largest sum ever, but certainly not something to just write off as a loss.
It looks like maybe one day I will get paid, but according to them they have no clue when that day is. My advice, if you like actually getting paid don't play at BoDog. Hopefully this will save some other suckers some troubles in the future. I will continue to update if/when I do receive a check. Today it has been 11 business days since my first cashout was approved.
My original email to them is at the very beginning of the page.
Dear Mr. XXXXXX,
Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.
Unfortunatley, with the high volume of payouts with March Madness and with our 3rd
party processor that we use to cut the checks has restrictions on them in the number
they can cut a day, creating a backlog because we have more requests they can fulfill.
At this time, we cannot give any timeframes as to when your payouts will arrive, we
just have not been provided with that information. We have been in business 11 years
and have never missed a payout so while we cannot guarantee when you will get it, we
can guarantee you will get it. We can certainly understand your frustration at the
length of time has taken and we sincerely do apologize. For questions regarding this
matter we ask you to contact us directly at 1-888-263-0000 Ext.2.
If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Customer Service

ACCT # XXXXXX
I am writing in question to two of the three payouts I have in
process. My
first question is this. I have requested two payouts by courier and one
by
regular mail. When ALL THREE were processed they all said an average of
10
business days for me to receive my checks. My question is why is it the
same delivery time for a courier (which I am paying 20.00 for) AND the
US
MAIL. Wouldnt the fact that I am paying for a courier mean that it
would
arrive quicker?
Secondly I would like to know when my first two payouts shipped, and if
they
havent when they are expected to ship. THANKS!

(i_did_a_poopy) If you need money fast, use their Western Union option - never has taken more than a day or so to process.
they have a backlog in their checks, but supposedly they will be back on schedule sometime soon.
They had lessened check turnaround time to about a week, but this was before what they claimed was a march madness rush.
Calling them up on the phone is much better than emailing them. Like reggi said, they have the best and friendliest customer service of any poker site, might as well take advantage of it.
This pretty much summed it up. Easily, they have the best phone support. The best option to get is Western Union if you want your cash fast. They usually get those processed and to you in a day or 2 max.
I also got a check by mail processed on April 1st and it just got here a couple days ago.

Far from a heart attack? LOL, you really have no idea what I even lok like or th physical shape I am in. I had to read the first sentence 6 times because you butchered it so bad, I thought an Asian nigger jumped on your account and started babbling..We all know you, the big quiet pussy who doesn't speak away from the computer, too shy and broken inside to meet a girl, and too dumb to spit game to any of them. No wingman friends, no friends at all, just waiting for that day, that another shortbus comes along, and it happens to be a female who is dumb enough to let you impregnate her. You might even one day get a job, other than counter boy behind a vitamin store, doubtful though, as I am pretty sure you have the education of a Nigerian homeless man...

I have to call BULLSHIT on somebody here... either this poster is setting up a scam or Bodog hires 4th graders to respond to their e-mails...
Anybody else notice the obvious spelling errors and highly suspect sentence structure ? This does not sound like a response from a billion dollar company to me... and Bodog has been around since 1994, I think that is longer than the 11 years "they" mentioned.
I could be wrong but one side of this equation is seriously weak.

(reggiman) I made a withdrawal at Bodog recently, $62k to be exact.
I received the checks in about 3 weeks time, which isn't really all that special. What is special is that there were 31 of them. Yes 31 checks for $2k each. Even weirder is that they were written from a bank in Tampa, FL. Obviously they wanted to keep the check amounts low to avoid bank problems but 31 checks? I think that looks even worse.
My first reaction was to get these cashed asap as the DOJ had to figure out these were being drawn on from a US bank soon, but how bad does it look to deposit 31 checks for the same amount. I decided to take a day and visit all the branches of my bank in the Pittsburgh area, depositing 3 at each branch.
Checks all cleared fine, and Bodog is probably the nicest and best customer service in the industry right now. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
I THOUGHT YOU RETIRED FROM ALL THIS CRAP?

31 checks at 2k, that is pretty hardcore. Do you avoid paying any taxes or anything if they are all 2k each?

no, 2K checks just clear fast and without questions as opposed to 10K checks.
