QUOTE(micon @ Aug 22 2008, 10:25 PM) Official thread many days before it starts.
Michael DeMichele (officially pronounced Dee-Mik-elly like on ESPN most recently - tune in to NWP Radio for the full story obv)
will be with us to share his stories from the most shenanigans $50k HORSE FT I have ever seen. Alcohol, Collusion, A man that owns a monkey, a few Million on the line, you know, standard.
DON'T GET SHUT OUT I thought it was officially pronounced demichelle like it sounds but he changed the prononciation or some shit. Should be Michael Demidouchey
--------------------
We actually threw $300 of my money "make it rain" style (I made them play the song while we did it) on to the main Scores strip-floor from the upper baller rain-balcony. Everyone knew the dude, everyone treated him as if he was a huge baller and he'd proved that by showering them with $.
Without thinking again I loan an additional $7k, he promises $100k in 24 hrs
Justin Smith calls me and says needs $10k more, and will repay $1 Million in a few days.

Oh, I am sorry, usually when someone says they have "the nuts" it means they have the best possible hand, hence using the term "the nuts" I was confused. How the fuck did this guy get rid of the tool box?

I piad alot of money to get rid of that toolbox please dont bring that up, also your lack of understanding in anything gambling wise has been proven to be seriously flawed, you dont even bet real money actually hence serial fail.

Huh... I thought I had a pretty good grasp on thing relating to poker... But I guess thinking when someone says they have the "nuts" means they have the best hand, is flawed thinking in itself. So, please Karl Pilkington, teach me the different meanings of the term "nuts." Does it always pertain to when you think you have the best hand? So if I raise AKo and the flop comes A 9 2 I can say I have the "nuts" because I am fairly certain I probably have the best hand? Or do you need a better hand, like a straight on a 55972 board (If I remember right that is what it was) where your 68 high is only beaten by: 22, 77, 99, 55, 95, 75, and 25. I think the AKo hand on a A 9 2 board would be better to call the "nuts" because you are only beaten by A9, A2, AA, 99, and 22. Please point out where in this thread I lost the meaning of the term "nuts"

If you play live poker, especially with Asians, you'd know they often turn over top pair and announce they have the nuts. In the hand you're talking about with Scotty, he knew he had a scoop when Michael was taking all the time, so he said he had "nut nut". Really not a big deal, happens often.
