There is a philosophical retardation here that I just can't get over.

If you are the sort of person who is willing to loan relative strangers somewhat large sums of money on their word, then you had damn sure better be the sort of person who is willing to do what it takes to get paid back. Micon knows that he isn't the kind of guy who can "get it done" when shit goes south. Better than 99% chance that he doesn't know the right people in LV to do it for him, either.

Really, how can you dole out those kind of sums on a promise when you have absolutely no mechanism to collect?
Personally, instead of a simple "borrow and bail" routine, I wish this guy would've just said "Yeah, I have your money and no, I'm not paying it back. Sue me if you want, Rabbi" right to Micons banana-nosed face. At least that way, he would've learned a valuable lesson about pussies loaning people money on the finger; a lesson that he probably still hasn't figured out.

Wish he woulda asked advice before he did it. As soon as I found out he loaned the guy money and what was promised I woulda bet even money that it was a scam. Live and learn I guess. Probably just gonna end up having to charge this one to the game.

What you could do is call "Justin Smith" back...tell him you got more money for him to borrow. But before you can give it to him have Justin sign a document stating that he owes you $12K to $20K, get a copy of his real ID, or/and just beat the living shit out of him.
