Trying to find a place or Roomate in Vegas? WTF, finding quality roomates without the weirdness of Craigslist

I am relocating to Vegas from not to far up the road in Utah to go to Massage School. I am living out of a hotel for now and wondering what resources would be good to look at for getting an apartment or quality roomate in Vegas without the weirdness and total ass rape that I am finding on Craigslist.

I am finding a lot of people offering me rooms however I see they want 600 for a room when they themselves are paying 900 for the place they live at. I am not looking to get totally buttfucked. Then of course I put in the ad I am from utah and not a party type and pretty much have LDS/mormon standards and I am getting a shit ton of homosexuals looking to Onestep me in the ass while I sleep.

Are there better resources to find a roomate or room to rent other than CL??

You really have to know someone here brother. This town sucks if you don't. But, I would recommend a suite near Stoney's, on Vegas Blvd, think there are suites there. you might have to pay more for this, but everything is included.

OR, if money is really tight, look for a roomate in Green Valley. Stick to Green Valley, because you can't go wrong there, good zips are 89012, 89052, 89014, 89074, anything here is good. if not, the budget suites are in zip 89123. Try to find a local church that might help and someone needs a roomate.

Whatever you do, stay the fuck away from the strip, 89109 is the worst zip, and there are many others, around Charleston and Downtown. Just stay away. North Vegas is also very bad. I am in sales, and I know this town inside and out. Also 89131 is a good area in the Northwest.

Good luck, and don't fucking trust anyone in this town. They are all suspect until proven otherwise.
