Places to go boating/waverunning renting

Ill be in vegas with 2 friends of mine from May 29th - june 8th, we talked about boating and going waverunning, is there anywhere near vegas to do this at? Also what age would we have to be to rent a boat or jet skis etc? Thanks

Lake Mead is about half an hour or so from Vegas and is awesome. Rent a car, get directions to Lake Mead from the hotel and you can rent jet skis or boats at the lake - just follow the signs. Wear sunscreen!!!! (there's no shade whatsoever) Not sure how old you have to be - probably 18

for some reason I can't post pics in this forum- seems to be ok in shooting off but the upload thing doesn't come up in this forum for me. anyone else? calling lithuania...
