Was just talking to my neighbor and he mentioned that his diamond card (harrahs) expired and he has to find a way to get a new one. Apparently he bought his last one for $100 off of a former Harrah's employee that made it for him. He said you couldn't use it for free rooms but it worked just fine for the diamond lounge and valet and cutting lines and shit.

You have any connections in this area? I feel like I need to be taking advantage of more schemes around town. I knew of a rigged super bowl party contest at a strip casino where you just had to give the guy the prize that came along with the group party.

No, I haven't ever heard of anything like that. Very interesting though. Did he just have to flash it for the lounge and lines or did they actually swipe it? Very rare someone loses a high end players card at my bar, but it does happen. Usually we have to hand them in to security. I have always feared getting involved with anything shady like that, basically because I have too much to lose and it's not worth the risk. I was once cleaning off the poker machines at my bar, and had a game tech next to me fixing another machine. The machine I was cleaning had $1 left in it, so I hit max bet and end up hitting a Royal. the game tech says "good for you!!!!" So I threw it in our tips. Next thing I know my GM comes out to the bar and says give me whatever it is you just won because security wants you fired for gambling on the job. Luckily he stuck up for me, but they are really on it when it involves anything with gaming.

they swipe the card. The guy had it made for him by a Harrahs employee in that department, he didnt find and claim it. So it was his real name and whatnot. He said that for the diamond lounge they just make sure it isnt expired and the name matches but if you try to get free rooms they will make sure you have the proper play required or something like that.

His buddy got fired, I assume for making people diamond cards for people that didn't earn them.

Back in KY i played with a drug dealer that bought food stamp cards off of people for a percentage of what they were worth. He offered to get me one if I was interested but I told him no thanks. That is slightly below something I would get involved in, but I wouldn't feel the least bit of guilt getting free drinks and shitty hand food off of Harrahs I know that.

Not that hard to get a diamond card.

Just have a degenerate friend make you an extra one (if you know a lot of gamblers, it should be easy to find someone willing/able to do this), and use it as your own.

Some things require ID, but you still get a number of priveleges with it, even without ID.
